I do this too sometimes just because it’s faster than stopping to mount. It just depends on what I’m doing.
Hes even asked if he should get an epic. Was voted down. Believe me, him not having a 100% mount on his warrior has 0 bearing on his skill/dedication as a player. Going back to the ‘keeping the meme alive’.

No, but it does lead me to believe certain things about him and your statement. Shocking enough, when I looked into them, I was right though.

You don’t have to be the best to do better than that. He looks like someone who is comfortable and complacent, like someone that won’t upgrade their mount.

He had run to the instance, from what he was doing, which was farming mobs, so he had a bunch of cat oriented agility gear on.
Disposable stuff, cheap to repair,
The group leader was retarded and did not even ask about the gear, or wait a sec for the guy to change clothes, hell, no one had even buffed yet and we were standing outside the instance.
party text just suddenly said “Oh hell no, good bye learn 2 gear” KICK!
guy did not even have time to respond.

Nah, it looks like someone who hasn’t been able to land big BWL upgrades due to our drop luck, and who isn’t in a super tryhard guild that pushes hard. You call it complacent, in reality its just relaxed. Give him the gear and environment of those top tanks and I bet he’d perform just as well, but for Warriors, gear is king, and we really haven’t got much in the way of big TPS boosts for him in BWL.
Gear isn’t going to double his performance. Especially now that I’ve double checked it and found that he has really strong gear.
Environment sure, but again we’re talking about literally doubling his performance.
That’s dumb, but there’s at least a logical thread to it. He thought the guy’s gear was awful and he didn’t want to carry. He was obviously wrong, but I can understand his thought process. This idea of kicking a guy based on his mount speed? Absolutely ludicrous. Like I can’t even wrap my brain around why someone might do that. Maybe he just hates poor people that much? It’s just too bizarre.
I use my travel form way more than my mount.
Some for silly reasons maybe.

The mount simply does not feel druid like, i would rather pay for advanced travel forms, same cost as the mount would have been fine.

Too clunky.
Travel form is so seamless, bounce into and out of at will, even fight in it
if farming low level mobs for food and leather cause i can loot and skin in travel form, need a burst of speed, hit cat and dash and reach normal mount speed, hop back to travel when dash wears off, it all just flows real nice. -
Animation feels faster
I know it isn’t of course, but it feels like you are zooming along, mount animation feels like slow motion, the Saber does anyway, i just couldn’t put a Night Elf Druid on a Horse, just does not feel right. Maybe Horse animation is better? do not know.

Hey miss rogue, is that the gear you are going to tank this in?
Lots of people do normal stuff in lesser gear, because it gets expensive to repair your good dungeon or raid set banging it around solo grinding silithus rep quests etc, and sometimes is not suitable for it, like say a holy pally, whose instance set might be mostly cloth.
