Precisely. If it was designed to be walked through then that’s just fine. Or even if it wasn’t designed to be that way the decision may still be that it’s fine. There are plenty of examples of unintentional design decisions that were kept around because they became too important to the meta. Flask sets are, in my opinion, far goofier than going through a fence which literally has loads of giant holes in it.
The lack of any action being taken by the devs seems to imply that they think it’s fine. That or they just don’t care enough. Either way stating that it’s obviously not supposed to be this way is… actually not at all obvious.
By this metric, other things that are fine:
Botting
Gold buying
Fly hacking
Racism
“yOu d0Nt KnOw THaT BizZlaRd DiDnT INtenD 4 U 2 jUMp THrU tHe FenCEs N WaRSonG GuLcH”
lol yeah, and Blizzard secretly put the backdoor into Dul Baldar because they wanted to see who was 1337 enough to figure that out

hey please trick more people into feeding premades in wsg pls we are dodging other premades more often than we are farming the few pugs that disnt get the memo
pls dangle a bigger carrot for the pugs or we will have to start win trading
If getting exalted with WSG and AB wasnt excruciating, pugs might consider it for fun. But then premades exist which make it completely unplayable for pugs.
So now you have a low honor, tortuous rep grind that is made exponentially worse by the fact that its completely sweat swamped by people who have never seen grass or felt sunshine in their lives and are about as toxic as a mid 2010s CoD lobby. And you wonder why nobody queues for them anymore?
AB and WSG are dead and will stay dead. Premaders killed them both. Like the pestilence you are you consumed everything around you and are now forced to either cannibalize one another or starve.

All things against ToS and things you can get suspended or banned for. And also things you can’t just fix with a patch. Not the same. You know it. I know it. Don’t pretend otherwise.
Especially since some races and genders - err, body types - can jump the fence and some can’t.
If you find WSG fun you’ve got issues

FWIW, they attempted to address terrain exploits in OG vanilla at least one time I can recall with a certainty.
Basically there was a fairly easy jump path near the alliance Rejuv hut that was getting pretty common usage back then.
Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom, attempted to “fix” this, by turning one of the hills you had to jump onto, into a pit. The pit, had an extremely difficult jump sequence to escape back out to the field, but not upwards to the alliance gy area, and most anyone who fell into the pit, was just stuck there.
So naturally, people did what people do, and groups like my premade at the time, dedicated an entire day towards JUST baiting or MC-Throwing people into the pit and holding the flag for literal hours.
The pit didn’t last very long, and was promptly hotfixed back out of the game.
FWIW going into Legion, the very first thing I did on the beta was focus test BGs for terrain exploits with Demon Hunters … Most of them never got fixed (as late as SL), and a few of the worst ones remained in game into BFA despite being reported practically daily by me for a while (one in particular a tank DH could hold a flag in the connector room next to the alliance cap point, while being LoS of everyone, and one demonic leap away from capping…The ONLY spec/class I found able to reach that spot was another tank DH (not even DPS-DH could get there)
Yeah I think we can say terrain exploits that are patched in retail were definitely not intentional. Exploit as a concept also kinda implies that anyway.
if you roll on pvp server and don’t like Warsong, you should try another game
Warsong is the soul of Vanilla
