I’d be okay with RNG wolves… if it were the case that getting lucky meant insane damage and getting unlucky meant okay damage… but as it is right now, you need to get lucky to do okay damage and getting unlucky means worse than average damage.
I’ve always enjoyed the RNG element of playing a shaman… but the problem is that encounters are designed around controlled burst windows so if you get lucky with RNG right before you head into a movement phase sucks to be you.
Which means… either enh needs better control over RNG (via getting 3 wolves every time for example) or enh needs bigger damage on the lucky procs (so it matters less when it happens). I’d prefer the bigger, random damage… but I imagine that would skew PvP. Heck, if I’m dreaming, I might as well wish that they’d go all the way with PvP talents and create entire builds that are only for PvP and builds that are PvE so that they can tinker with one without it screwing the other.
