Bubbling Wax is ilvl capped

Really, Blizzard?

The one thing unique for Rogues and you kneecap it? Why? Who hurt you, Blizzard?

Why? Because it was trivializing content based on a scaling oversight.

Kneecapping and fixing unintended bugs are pretty far apart.

Rogues can’t have fun.

They didn’t fix the bug if they prevent you from using it in non-timewalking content. I have 100 things of Bubbling Wax that are now rendered useless.

What clown is making these decisions?

Trivializing
 ha sure.

Not like we have other buffs that do the same thing if not better.

Bubbling Wax was just a nice thing Rogues had, now it doesnt even work .

I don’t know if they fixed it or not. I’m not trying to defend it either.

I’m guessing they were trying to fix it doing unintended levels of damage, and in doing so they broke it even working in some situations.

But calling it “kneecapped” implies it’s working, but was intentionally changed to the point it’s weak and a shadow of it’s former effectiveness. It’s not been kneecapped at all. It’s just bugged.

Maybe it’s just me and I’m on the forums too much (obviously) but pretending and acting like these types of things are intentional or just devs being mean to rogue players is absurd. Delusional levels of persecutory thinking.

They havent, still doesnt work.

You do realize half of this is just memeing right? i mean Rogues havent gotten needed changes in a long while, making them obviously not priority for Blizzard it seems.

Stealth is barely functional after all.

Sin has severe Energy issues.
Sub is bloated as hell.
Outlaw is an RNG mess that barely works.

So yeah, not surprise Rogue players are kinda annoyed at this point.

Sure, half of everything on the internet is just memeing. The problem is that it is increasingly difficult to discern the difference between trolls and genuine idiocy, and at this point it’s not worth participating in the community aspect of things if people are so dead set on viewing everything through the lens of being persecuted.

Even, “stealth barely functional
”

Sure. Whatever you say. ‘Barely functional’ and “breaks often, buggy, but functional,” are in different ballparks. But have fun dooming and glooming.

They (the developers) intentionally disable things they can’t fix or flat out ignore issues despite people bringing them up all the time.

Like Echoing Reprimand not functioning as intended since its inception in Shadowlands.

Imagine fixing bugs that affect everyone else, but when it comes to staple abilities being broken, still to get a fix for rogues, can’t make this stuff up :joy:

I think you’re delusional thinking this company deserves to be defended after the severe lack of communication and attention they have right now, specifically for rogues, this class it self is clunky and barely functioning.

Yeah the devs aren’t being mean to rogues, but I can’t blame the rogue population feeling neglected at this point, so let them speak out and vent their frustrations at the dev team, because instead of giving us proper fixes, they rather “fix” other things with a second rate thought for rogues.

Who is defending blizzard? Blizzard’s communication and customer service sucks. It’s terrible. But I also don’t think Blizzard is a single entity with a set axe to grind against any class.

It sounds like you’re saying you know the devs aren’t being spiteful, but since their communication sucks anyways, it’s okay to pretend they are
because we’re justifiably mad anyways?

I mean i guess if that makes you feel better I guess.

Literally not what I said, and I’m not sure it can be said any other way, but each to their own. :upside_down_face:

Where are you seeing this?

Still no update on this, huh? Dumb me for farming up 100 of these not knowing it was meant to be a consumable just for leveling.

TIL: Bubbling Wax is a fun Rogue quest and weapon enchant.
TIAL: There is no point in doing this quest due to a bug/arbitrary decision to cap it.

I was just writing a new post regarding my desire for Rogue’s to be able to use more of our tools against more difficult mobs (i.e., vanish doesn’t reset Elite health/fight, slows, etc.), but there is no point.

Looks like they may have fixed it. Macro is working again, and I’m able to apply to my main hand.

Confirming, I was able to apply it to 619 MH dagger! Thank goodness
