Bruto mount should have an AH "convenience fee" that goes to AH

Players with the AH mount can empty their bags anywhere right into the AH. Everyone else has to find a mailbox and gets charged postage to send to an alt. So, I think every listing on the AH from a mount should have a small convenience fee added, of at least 60s (30s for postage and 30s for the attachment).

Hmm, I have a better idea:

Brutosaur should be placed back on a vendor of some sort

Well, yes it should, but they’ve already doubled-down and will likely never relent. Probably some day, many years in the future, when very few people are still playing, it will appear as a Twitch drop or something.

We shall see! If they are going to do it, BFA Timewalking would be the time for it. Whenever that comes around for the first time, we’ll have a solid answer.

In regards to your idea: I think there should be an added tax of some sort, and a portion of that tax should go to the mount owner.

For example, if I want to buy reagants off of a Grand Expedition Yak, the vendor prices should be slightly higher. Part of the extra cost should then go to the crafter (which would come back to myself if I was using my own mount), and the rest can vanish into the void. This way, inflation is dented some more while the mount owner gets something for sitting there and letting others use their vendors.

the fee is the price you pay for the mounts you cheap goblins

I could be wrong but I feel like it’ll take quite a while for the 60c per item to outweigh the 5 million it cost to buy the big lizard.

Edit: I did the math. Assuming you count each posting as saving 60c, you’d need to make 833,333,333 AH listings before you’d actually be saving money by having it.

this plan sounds like why my IRL lawn mowing crew no longer takes payment by credit card (or check, they are cash only now. middleman payment processor were nickklingdiming their bottom line)

My convenience fee was 5 mill. There… that is a lot of postage charges that you’ll never spend in a lifetime so. No.

There’s already a pretty substantial 5% cut on what you do sell.

You made all that back already in time saved by not having to travel to an AH. How many nodes or treasures can you gather in the time it takes to hearth and list something? How many treasures/tackle boxes do people miss with those 100k recipes while back at the city? In the first 3 months of the game, every node was several thousand gold. How many extra raid/dungeon runs can you do? How many fish /recipes did you not miss because you could just buy more lures and statues? Multiply that by 10-20x per day.

You sound salty for not getting the mount

I’m not sure your rebuttal sways me in anyway.

I spent a long time working to get that Gold. The convenience comes with the price. Your ‘‘convenience fee’’ that goes to the AH idea makes no sense.

I pay more deposit fees to make up for your little complaint of having some postage fee lol

I just posted this as a counter-point to the person who said people with AH mounts should get fees when people use them. It’s Sunday.

Cool. Sunday thread.

I don’t have it and advocating to penalize owers of the mount seems a bit biased and based on jealousy.

I don’t have the mount either OP. It’s ok. Don’t be bitter.

blizzard has better things to than implement a 30 copper tax to players for every brutosaur transaction.
