Brutal lag

Hey ive been getting brutal lag when i haven’t before, it gets extra worse when in instances(raid, 5 man, bg ect.) but its sorta all the time. Here is a ping test, trace route and winMTR tests i have done, maybe someone smarter can tell me what the problem is.

please help :frowning:

Howdy!

It appears packet loss may be the biggest issue here making the connection unstable. Issues appear to start at hop 3 but as you can see in the WinMTR that test didn’t get a response from all the nodes but by the time time the connection gets to us 6% of the data is lost and outstanding latency spikes are occurring.

I would recommend to have your Internet Service Provider review this information!

Thank you.

Hi Microfists

I see you are on Telus. I have seen another post where using IPv6 while on Telus was causing issues. Check in game on the Menu > System > Network. Try disabling Use IPv6 when available. Double check that you hit the Apply button afterward so the change sticks.
