Bros... today i fell victim

I learned this the hard way back in Vanilla in LBRS. Pet AI has always been bad and will always be bad. Get into melee range before sending your pet in if you’re in a dungeon or room where it’s easy to accidentally overpull. That actually goes for the skill Barrage too, if they ever make it worth using in dungeons again. Get into melee range, face backwards from the next pull (basically where a tank usually positions themself) and try to face a wall before firing. That being said, around roughly WoD somehow pet AI has gotten WORSE. Assist doesn’t work and sometimes when soloing I’m desperately mashing the attack button because my pet decided it CBA to attack my target, even with Assist and Growl on.

What’s even more fun is the group I was in where the Lock’s pet path pulled mobs like 3 times and I kept getting blamed until the Healer spoke up for me.

Being a hunter is being buggy, a scapegoat, and the butt of everyone’s jokes.

It will take them 5 minutes to get to the fight but other than that this is great advice!

Yes they can be rather slow if sprint isn’t up.

If you really need it to attack at that moment though, Kill Command has a 40 yard range. Plus it benefits from the 20% more damage stealth opener.

I was just teasing. I meant it that your post was good advice.

Well thanks =P

Your not. You’re not alone. Pathing for Minions/pets have always been bad just like the tab targeting.

That’s happened to every single hunter who’s used a pet in a dungeon or raid. The reaction of the other party members was totally uncalled for though. Hopefully the rest of your timewalking experience is better

I feel relieved after a good night’s sleep. Canceled my subscription. Everyone already knows why - pick an issue with the game - as there are many to choose from. My only fear is replacing wow with another game, but I am open to the idea. I heard good things about Overwatch, I might give that a chance. Realized last night that after coming home from a long shift of work, it’s not a fun game anymore.
