"Bros. Before Ho Ho Ho's" needs to be changed

i agree, eliminate all under 4’ tall. they offend me beyond belief!

Personally, I am sick of hearing about this stuff or seeing it on the forums.

The court will sort it out.

The phrase “bros before hoes” upon which the achievement is based originated in African American culture.

So to answer your question, advocating for the changing of or even erasure of AA culture is, in fact, racist. And I absolutely loathe racism.

THAT is how it negatively effects me.

Something can’t be in poor taste if it is factual.
Bros do, as studied and peer reviewed, come before hos.

This world has lost the plot, so many special snowflakes that need to grow a thicker skin. It’s a game, how can it be offensive to some people…i just cannot anymore as this is getting beyond ridiculous. Stop playing if things like this offended you, you know the logical thing to do. Instead you seek attention to try and get people on you side of it OP. You know the saying has been around a lot longer than you have been alive.

No, because it’s a pun, which is play on words. It’s people like you why Mel Brooks wrote in the April 2018 issue of Vanity Fair that comedy is dead, & political correctness killed it.

Just.
Please.
Stop.

I think people just need to not be so hurt/upset about things like this and stop taking things personally. It’s a game.

People who lack control over their own lives, who are lost, frustrated, alone, aimless, and depressed about a perceived lack of a future for themselves are always the first ones who try to make random changes in the world around them just to have the feeling of control over anything at all.

The changes don’t need to be meaningful, and in almost all cases, the idea of ‘good’ or ‘bad’ is irrelevant, as the person simply wants to feel stable, secure and in control of something. Usually a dead-end job, extreme disatisfaction with their station in life and the decisions they made that got them there, struggles with personal relationships (if any exist), and so on and so forth.

They simply want to feel like they matter. To be able to say ‘I was here, I made an impact on the world’.

So they do crap like this.

I agree entirely, but yeah it’s quite annoying. There’s already people doing unnecessary things like this irl, let alone touching games like this because “it hurts my feelings” like wut. I seriously want half of these people to get in a time machine and go back to the 80s and 90s when things were much different. Teachers could put dunce caps on your head and have you sit in the corner while all the other kiddos laughed hard at you, etc. It might toughen some people up.

Sylvester Stallone says it perfectly in Rocky Balboa.

I’m a woman. I don’t find a pun involving Santa’s catch phrase degrading.

Not paying the USNWT the same as the USNMT is degrading women.

ATVI destroying evidence rather than pay their current and former female workers what they legally owe them is degrading women.

I promise it’s possible to see something on the internet that you’re not 100% comfortable with and to simply move on from it without taking offense.

Taking offense is, after all, a voluntary act.

(to an extent, of course. Please don’t misrepresent the above.)
