I encountered this issue as well. But as soon as I posted it on genchat, someone whispered to me and told me of a quick fix until the bug is gone.
If you’re still having problems, click on the table and then type this in your chat:
/script C_ContributionCollector.Contribute(1)
If 1 doesn’t work, try 2 or 3.

This is still a problem. Now, however, you can’t even click on the table. It just sits there glowing, unable to click on or even target. Completely broken and can’t complete quest.
