Oh, really? I update my addons every single day before I play. I had updates pushed today that still throw errors. Some from huge addons like DBM. So unless you only have two addons and they’re so simple the API changes didn’t affect their functionality, or you just haven’t logged on today to see the mayhem.

I update my addons every single day before I play.

I usually do during a season I’m actively playing, but not right now. I definitely will be doing so every day well into The War Within.

WeakAuras, BigWigs, Details!, BadBoy, HandyNotes, Method Raid Tools… Yeah, I don’t think any of these are “simple”.

Feels like they just put a .1 in the code to break everything.

Or maybe they are fixing the game and leaving it up to the addon authors to solve the issue of their addon breaking.

Plater stopped working so I tried Threat Plates, which has also stopped working. I can’t even get the default nameplates to appear in game.

Not to step on any toes but this is why I’m glad I don’t use addons, I don’t gotta fear Blizzard doing an update and breaking them with a metaphorical hammer. I’m sure they’ll be fixed eventually though
