One other thing I do that’s not obvious – I use the add-ons Auctionator and Journalator.

Auctionator allows you to scan the AH to know what the going prices are for the things you want to put up for auction. That helps you price your goods competitively. But Journalator is the key thing. It allows you to know where your gold is going. It tells you when you’re spending more than you earn on the AH, so you can stop doing that. It can give you some useful insights into your spending patterns, and it can also tell you where you’re actually earning your money.

Might be to your benefit to change realms.
Farming nodes early expansion is usually a lot of gold…by now its hit and miss or dead entirely.
Farming mogs and pets from old content might make some gold…though i dont make nearly as much as I did in Legion and early BFA from that.
AH flipping…but thats risky if you dont know what youre doing.

To access Shadowlands raids I think you gotta do the quests to gain access to Shadowlands areas itself and DF I’d guess you need to be able to access the dragon isles and its areas. Idk past that
