Bring these world buff changes to era

Try me. Ill go first.

So?

So enjoy having less, and less people to play with? Maybe you’ll be stoked once you’re the last person left.

You don’t know how many of us are here cause you don’t interact with us, that’s fine. If your idea of ‘‘going down like a drunk prom date’’ is to spongebob meme someone, that’s pretty funny.

Doesn’t change one guild just needs to do a char boost once a week for 4 buff toons, then just schedule them like the PvE cluster does.

Again. Sooner than later it will be an actual problem, and you guys will be in tears all over the forums that Blizzard has to do something when its far too late.

Imagine being butt hurt over a monthly repeatable world buff drop that gives no items, and just lets you get buffs…

As I said above, repeatable buffs have been an ask long before seasonal. But of the 2 people you’re trying to wave a stick at and say ‘‘sooner or later’’, corpseknife and myself are not that lol. We had a great time in quiet era. I enjoy busy era too, but I will be happy regardless - again, complete leveling experience.

The bulk of people leveling alts for world buffs are not doing it because they are having fun doing it. You may as well stop replying to me. You’re wrong, and thats ok. Move on and accept it.

Sad to hear that for them - if we’re bringing in seasonal changes, we can take SoM turning off world buffs in raids and they won’t have to level alts anymore

Muting the thread and leaving now. Neither of you are productive, and honestly come off as players that drive other players away from the game

Sorry about your ego, have a good one

Been there done that. I was like one of a dozen horde on an entire cluster of servers that still played Era after TBC dropped. It was double digits population for a very long time but Im more of a quality over quantity guy anyway - not much was lost even after most everyone left.

No but I can’t help it if the only thing keeping them subbed is world buffs. Also from my perspective its really not that bad. 500+ active horde and 2k alliance is the most vanilla thing Ive seen so far. Era isn’t going to go head to head with retail any time soon nor does it have too.

Im not wholly unsympathetic to your plight, I know it takes a bunch of effort and coordination to keep things running, even if you’re boosting the toon - but Im cool with it working as intended like that.

Translation: You disagree. Im here for the echo chamber.

They definitely came in here hot-headed from a discord convo with their GDKP group about how ‘‘everyone wants this’’ or some such, and meeting any sort of resistance was too much.

Of course. Just follow the discourse. Its a problem for them so its everyone’s problem. Its a problem they can easily rectify on their own - evolve beyond the epeen parse game or continue boosting throw away alts but no, everyone who disagrees has to take the bullet for them.

If they don’t get their way the game will die and we will all hate ourselves for not agreeing with them sooner.

Its the same old stuff. Changes happened so these other changes can happen. QoL entitlement changes in your anti QoL game automatically equates to good which means more players guaranteed. The 20 people who remained in Era post TBC weren’t there for the chronoboon. What a lousy savior.

These guys have no clue where they are or what time it is.

6 years later… I’m still waiting for them to dry up.

And tbh, I don’t care if they do. The content will still be cleared.

It’s funny the direction this thread took, as losing the debate made the OP run away, terrified to even possibly see any follow-up replies.

This is funny too as it completely proved the point that Cezar was making, and also what is anyone “lucky” for?

Retail parselords are constantly trying to turn this game into retail. World buffs being dispelable was hilarious. The amount of parselord rage and tears was glorious.

Lets make world buffs dispelable again, just like original vanilla thanks.

If Tink played more Era than they currently do real Era players would be subjected to this kind of obnoxious rhetoric far more often.

Don’t blame them for the early exit, they had a prom to get too.

Do find it funny they come in hammer swinging and try to exit with ‘‘drives players away from the game’’, as if the insertion of aggression was the warm welcome new players need.

Which loops into itself being funny they also claim new players aren’t coming in, yet all they do is raid log and make fun of levelers, so how would they know? If you’re doing dungeons during leveling or even at end game, you meet quite a few new players, or players who tried hardcore and came over to era to play, or players who tried SoD and then came to try era etc.

Like truly, this is a parser raid-log problem, and I don’t want to sound cold, but start scheduling them like the PvE cluster and boost a toon once a week as a guild or something. One of the easiest ways horde toons pay for their epic mount on a first character (which don’t exist, apparently) is to sell rend.

Doesn’t sound so bad. Would finally get stocked up on lotus

I know you’re joking, but I’d be ok with this too
