but challenge mode sets are a special case. just like mage tower weapons

Actually not completely…

The paladin ones for example lack the shoulder wings…

So they’re more like Walmart brand

Because Blizz, even back in Legion obviously wanted to keep the integrity of the original sets intact for the players who earned those rewards. Why aren’t people whining about bringing back Scarab Lord as well? Blizz’s philosophy is that there will always be certain things that will be cut off to the playerbase who didn’t partake in whatever it took to earn those items. WoW players don’t need to collect EVERYTHING there is to collect in the game, and if that’s the philosophy you hold when you look at this game, then you are part of the problem.

recolor is recoloring something, not completely changing the dyanmics of the model. Thats like saying s2 glad mount is just a recolor of the base model SLitherdrake
