This is what I agree with, cause while some deserve their status for a limited time thing like how pvp seasons are, or tower artifact appearances, as examples.
Being able to earn even just a different color variant by doing those challenges much like how “tower 2.0” was with the Mythic skins of Tomb everyone would win.
No you lol.
Oh, did they actually go on record for this already?
they have been datamined as being recolors of the trading post sets.
they added a recolor of the challenge mode pheonix, which TECHNICALLY was never in MoP because its not the same color. So the challenge mode sets arent totally out of question yet.
no, its missing the special glowing effects from behind the pheonix, so it is the same type of recolor that the legion class sets are: missing the special effects.
They sets they’re giving out are the recolored trading post sets, according to some dataminers.
Oh. But that’s just a recolor to you right? Because to me, it loses its flair when the effect isnt there. Kinda like class hall sets.
Items that were only available during the original release of Mists of Pandaria will not be available in this event. This includes the Kor’kron War Wolf, challenge mode sets, and heirlooms. On the other hand, Rare drops that are available in Dragonflight today, such as the Son of Galleon or the Astral Cloud Serpent, will drop in Remix and can be purchased by Remix characters using the Bronze currency.
I haven’t seen that. Can you link me a source?
Again, they are adding the pheonix mount, which is the exact same model (minus an effect), nothing is taken off the old model WHATSOEVER (unlike legion class hall sets), so recolors of cm are not out of the equation just yet.
Once again that is a extremely Thin grey line bordering practically nothing.
Holding no real reward, rep grind you say? Uh… Yippee?? being forced to wait X amount of days cause poorly implemented garrison tech? Uh… Hooray? Most anyone accomplished cause of it was putting the game down while either doing nothing or just raiding the availible tier (if people even touched the campaign or rep after that.)
Classic should function like Remix in the first place, in regards to cosmetics. If you obtain an item in Classic, you should unlock it in Retail. They want to keep things “prestigious”? Add a FoS for those who originally unlocked things that have been made unobtainable.
There is a way for everyone to win here.
They said they aren’t bringing back the cm recolors. Also, one of the dudes datamined the sets. Recolors of the trade post class sets.
Recolours of the set would provide a very cool ‘remix’ to some excellent sets for new players without taking away the prestige of the original Gold CM sets from players who obtained it back in the day. All for it.
There’s a loud contingent of posters (not everyone) who seem to care more about “sticking it to the elitists” than they care about the items themselves. I noticed it a lot when that one dragon mount came up as a twitch viewing reward, too.
I agree that it’s really off putting.
It’s cool if they do but if they don’t that’s fine too.
You do you blizzard.
It’s very much serfs vs. the bourgeoisie lol.
Where did Blizzard say that? I only saw that they weren’t bringing back items that were removed from Mists of Pandaria (the original Challenge Mode sets); the recolors were never removed since they were never added to begin with. We are also going to be able to obtain a recolor of the Challenge Mode Pandaren phoenix mount which the originals were from Challenge Modes.
I’ve heard this rumor too, but still never seen a source. That also doesn’t disprove that recolors could be coming.
I’m not gonna research for you. Both were in the forums yesterday.
Unfortunately the burden of proof is on you since you brought it up; I tried to research it for myself yesterday and found nothing.
I only heard the rumor a grand total of two times yesterday but with no proof in these forums. It should be easy for you to find though if you’re that confident, but you seem focused on shutting this conversation down with a “shut up, I’m right and you’re wrong” mentality.
