Adding the mount and not the set is kind of funny.
They are pretty audacious and know how to spark hope in a community, but also drag the hook along further.
The reality is that CMs were not challenging back then, much like most of the content in the game. Some just weren’t around, had different jobs/business to attend, etc.
I think the scenario that made me truly realize how uh… “not helpful” the OT was had to be during SoO, Iron Juggernaut
I think his tank buster thing you taunted at like 4-5 stacks cuz of ramping damage stacks, I flat out remember getting over 12+ regularly cuz the other tank would just drop dead at 2-3

Given how Plunderstorm was made significantly more easy so that people could get rewards faster, it seems only fair they bring CM mogs back.
Everything should be on the table and SUPER easy to get solo, including the CM mogs - just like Plunderstorm. There has to be balance between game modes.

Would probably have something to do with them not being able to return classes and overall difficulty to the same lvl as it was back when mop was retail, therefore no said challenge. Mt is perfect example.

It’s here now, so all those folks were definitely wrong. (ETA: There was a green poster who lost their marbles trying to tell people a token type system would never happen. Used to “yell” in all caps at people about it. It was lulzy.)
Blizz does things like that. It is what it is. It’s quite possible they will implement something to do with the challenge modes back then, just with a different look on 'em.

classic mop will have challenge modes. do them then
they have never rereleased elite sets. they will never rerelease CM sets in retail, the closest thing u can have is legion order hall sets
