Just like the original mage tower appearances, if something that was obtainable during a limited-time were to become available again, Blizzard should apply it to everything.
Some people missed CM challenge mode sets, some missed original mage tower appearances, some missed the mounts which dropped in previous expansions but no longer available, some missed gladiator mounts, etc. etc.
List goes on. Unless you’ve been really dedicated from the launch of WoW, most players probably missed something.
The problem is, bringing only one of them or few of them, would be unfair to the other players who missed out on other things.
So like I’ve said in another thread, “Bring back everything or bring back nothing”.
Thats the only way its going to be fair to the people who missed out on something.
(this would obviously be unfair to the people who got those things when they were originally obtainable, im aware of that too)

Those aren’t a recolor.
They’re adjustments to the model, removal of the unique vfx and a recolor.

Tbh they should do challenge mode dungeons during tw.
It would still be limited. Still be a ‘challenge’. It would add content and players something to look forward to.
There really isn’t a reason to not other than to prevent the noisy minority from complaining.
I have at least 20 of the og legion mage tower weapons under my belt, I wouldn’t care if they get brought back during legion timewalking

Meh if you keep the challenge and make them recolors, I don’t see a reason as to not.
It’s super easy new content to add to the game to give us something to do.

the extra bits and bobs is what they did with mythic sets from mop to bfa
