Twinks were never able to “solo an entire team”. The issue at the time was premades, which are still a huge problem, in addition to the other problems that were created in the separation.
This didn’t happen. At all. Twinks were removed from xp on queues. That’s all that happened. They do not get their own queues. Queues never pop.
So there seems to be some huge misunderstanding of what i was saying here, because in a way on your second quote you are unintentionally agreeing with me.

So many of these new age twinks have no idea what monstrosities twinks were if they got into XP on before templates in legion, that guy thinking you couldn’t solo entire teams for example, what a meme.
I solo’d entire teams all the time, there’s a good reason they seperated the brackets.

Yeah, it got bad, even my mage was capable of wiping an entire team simultaneously if the conditions were met, the 400% cone of cold damage did over half the average players health.

Cold snap -> frost nova

And in that small time frame it would kill anything near me, without breaking a sweat, the team destroyer right there, and things like that is why I agree twinks should not exist unregulated within normal BGs.
This is why I suggest putting them back, but simply using templates while leveling, to alleviate any gear imbalance.
Noting this will also help newer players not immediately get globaled by people in full heirlooms, which aren’t affected by the separation, so newcomers are getting obliterated regardless of twinks exclusion.
So might aswell give a win win, and include twinks, while simultaneously normalizing the gear for all in leveling, really no downside tbh.

They did this a decade ago. Legion made it so twinking didn’t give an advantage. They removed that system with BfA so you went back to your XP-off queue that you had for the better part of a decade. Twinks somehow managed to survive all that time, they’ll be fine now.
Blizzard isn’t blizzard. Back then Blizzard listened to its community, now it seems like they only listen when they realized people are leaving.

Agreed, leveling twinks isn’t really bad at all. Lock your exp for 20 minutes and you can get a full new set of twink gear for the next bracket.
As much fun as real Twinks were at the time, they did ruin bg’s for everyone else. I had a 19 Priest(Before the twinked twinks) that had the +55 into to staff and every other major buff available at the time. Bgs turned into all rogue or hunter twinks and the occasional random person. They were fun for a time by ran the course. Leave them dead

Back in the day I made a twink. It was pretty fun building the character, but beating people up in battlegrounds was godawful boring. They didn’t stand any chance after about two battlegrounds I benched the character. So building them is pretty fun but playing one is too boring for me.
Plus one of the arguments was twinks want to fight other twinks. That might be kinda fun fighting others that stand a chance. I wonder why the queue times are so long for twinks?

Ever since they added XP to BGs and allowed players to turn off XP (which I think the XP off ability was added in Wrath), they have been trying to keep XP off characters (twinks) out of XP on BGs (levelers).
If you want to twink, you still can.
However, you’ll need to play with your own kind (other XP off twinks), or earn XP and level (meaning you’ll have to keep re-gearing over and over).
True, but blizzard killed most of us off by the waves of death xD ( I didnt have any other words…) The first week or so it was fine people que’d but more waves hit us and people gave up because blizzard are attacking twinks. I know sometimes i sound like a salty boy, but the twink community misses… well being twinks. We had fun and laughs and we want to continue to have fun with this game. Blizzard doesn’t seem to care about it’s community like it did back then. It only cares if it benefits them. They keep listening to people that cry and whine about the game… and sometimes even people that dont play and refuse to play.
Have you tried creating a community? I thought in the past there was one that was fairly large. They had games on specific nights for different brackets. I think it worked out really well.
Im in all brackets… It’s just no one gets on anymore. I was debateing on even making this forum… I’ve waited for a month now and I had hopes they’d fix it, and that people would come back. The opposite has been happening… People are leaving and blizzard are…making it worse. The only ALIVE brackets are 19 areans and 20 areans (sometimes 20bgs) . Level 59’s do have wargames though… but that’s about it
