Theyâd have to disable corruptions, essences, most of the trinkets from bfa to make it similar.

Neither here nor there about this stuff. Whatever âprestigeâ i felt having accomplished the Mage tower, especially on alts that I didnât know how to play very well and even learning to heal for the first time, has vanished.
I certainly wouldnât want it to be reduced to a faceroll though; the challenge should still exist and the rewardâs value shouldnât be diminished.

Iâm just happy I did all the healer and tank ones. Even overgeared those healer ones were very frustrating.

Member of club 36 here.
While the OPâs argument is a very poor one, to say the least, I do support a return of the Mage Tower. With the added caveat that you can only unlock a new tint and none of the old ones. And anyone who completed the content when it was relevant need only to log onto their characters to unlock the new tint.

This is actually really reasonable.
Youâre wrong. There are many reasons why youre wrong. All of which have been stated in the last 2 years of threads.
Its not about ego, its about being proud of something that you worked hard to obtain with a deadline. Barely anything has value in this game anymore because players can just run the old content and get it without effort.
The Mage Tower Artifacts are something to be proud of owning, its not like anyone has an ego trip for having them.

They were built around Legion balancing and I dont want Blizzard rebalancing it again.
It wasnt really âlimited time eventâ most people were building the Mage Tower then everything else after it was built.
I will repeat myself as I have with all these threads of Mage Tower Tears, I didnt get the Windwalker or Frost Mage oneâŚI am salty at myself for not being better, not Blizzard. Get over it as I have.

Well, according to Blizzardâs stance, the only way in which Iâm wrong is for suggesting any avenue for obtaining these appearances. So, if itâs your preference, I can be right and simply refuse to give an inch.
Ahem. When Legion was current content, I put in the time and effort to level and gear all classes, to learn all the specializations, and unlock all 36 Mage Tower artifact appearances. That experience cannot be replicated. Thus, neither can the rewards. They should never be made available to anyone else, in any way, shape, or form, because of that irreplaceable experience.
There. I hold the right stance now, as prescribed by Blizzard. Is that better?

Ego, in how youâre referencing it, has a negative connotation. There is nothing wrong with being proud of yourself for working towards something.
I wouldnât mind seeing new seasons added, with a different set of transmogs for said season. Kind of like how we have different seasons for raids, PvP and mythic+ content. But it shouldnât unlock previous season rewards.
What part of exclusively donât you understand? The removal of certain items, and titles have been a thing since this game was first introduced, however, just because you want something., then it should be brought back it seems. What is apparent is your strong sense of entitlement for something that others have gotten within the alotted time. And yes, you pay for a game, but I also pay for it too, and paying for the game only gives access to the experience, but doesnât give access to everything that is obtainable.
You shouldâve made different choices in order to have gotten the thingâs that you wished youâve gotten simply because everything in life, including games, is a choice, just saying.

Yes, youâre correct now. Those appearances were stated from the start to be limited. Anyone who wants them back now is just being entitled. They should not come back in any variation. Period.

I think it sets a bad precedent. Why stop at the mage tower? What about MoP challenge mode transmogs? What about old mounts or titles that are no longer available? Just have everything attainable always?

As mentioned, I do have all of them already. I donât really have a horse in this race. But I would be completely fine with a variant being made available to those that missed it. I can definitely understand being miffed that completely unique items, such as flails and the bearilla form, are no longer available. Thereâs no harm in giving the latecomers knockoff versions.
