and what is the actual difference between this distinction you pointed out?
It might be nice if they had a system like SWToR where you mog the slot, not the item.
You can even save several different outfits that way.

One is permanent to the slot, the other is permanent to the gear.
you can already save several outfits in the default transmog interface.
Do you need to reset the saved outfit if you change out a piece of gear?

Not removed. Changed into a new system. There is no separate system any longer from transmog.

Being able to hide the helmet and cloak slot was indeed removed and changed into a hidden item at the T-Mog.
All must know the disservice Blizzard brought upon their playerbase.

of all of the things to complain about blizzard, not having an independent “hide helm/cloak option” is certainly not one of them.

No, you left out the fact that hiding the slot was removed.

We get it, you’re mad you can’t hide helm and cloak at the click of a button, I don’t see that changing but I’m a peon I know nothing.
