You may not like it, but I wouldn’t mind it if is designed with the current ret in mind (fundimentally it cannot be the same as it was back then due to gcd getting too cluttered.)

Definitely just your unpopular opinion. Ret pallies campaigned for 5-6 years and perhaps longer for a revamp and they got it and it is majorly better than what they initially had before.
Now it is definitely better than legio bfa and sl for sure. Although I enjoyed bfa ret , it was gimped.
Current ret is more sound but still riddled with new issues like its damage profile the reliance on having wings uptime so high yada yada.
