Brilliant Sunburst Peafowl Mount Doesn't Fly?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

Yes it does.

It doesnt sky ride while OG one does.

I mean, you expected the peacock to fly? They’re just one up there from penguins on the flightless bird chart.

They CAN fly low to the ground, but they’re a low short distance flight bird due to their build and general feather distribution.

The original one does. No excuses. Op means the OG one can sky ride, this one cannot.

To be fair, the OG one is a phoenix isn’t it?

No its a normal peacock. Maybe it uses the skeleton of the phoenix. All they had to do was copy/paste this one and recolor it. Exact same 100% model, just no sky ridng.

The original is the Majestic Azure Peafowl, it was a trading post mount, just like the new one, in March last year, no reason it shouldn’t skyride

Yeah I found that just after I said the prior post, I think they actually DID 100% copy it… along with the original’s mentioned bug of not being able to fly XD.

The og one was bugged? That explains a lot. So they copied the og one without the bug being fixed…shows how little they pay attention to such things.

Tbf they are an indie company so I imagine they have lots of stuff that takes priority over this.

At least that’s what I think. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I mean, yeah… for one thing…flying peafowl. Not to mention: about a dozen chronology issues in the plot INCLUDING babies who should be teens and a dozen other messed up ages, wasps that produce honey (in all fairness one BFA quest for this makes a joke it’s definitely “not” honey from the stinger, but we have like 3 or three others that don’t acknowledge it), Survival Rexxar despite all sources listing him as BM in lore, etc.

If only we didn’t have a similar period of people getting hysterical over flying mounts that were added to the files in the months prior to TWW’s prepatch releasing not working entirely correctly. We might make the logical assumption that someone forgot to flip a switch on some of them that were still unobtainable.

Minor nit to pick, but you’re conflating “Beastmaster” the lore class with “Beast Mastery” the player spec. Rexxar has always been a case of a character not meshing fully with a class even when he identifies as a hunter, similar to Thrall being above the Elemental/Enhancement and Jaina being above the Frost/Arcane dichotomy.

Lore changes gets retconned every expansion, nothing we know is true anymore. Blizzard’s problem with wow lore is inconsistency, changing past events to suit the new expansions.

I bought it, realized it couldn’t skyride, and immediately refunded. Nothing lost but a few seconds of time, no big deal.

Blizzard has better things to do than design birds that can fly. Whatever things those are, I don’t know.

This is MicroActaBlizz we are talking about… Want to ask that question again?

Evidently genetically crossing bees with wasps to get honey wasps… somehow…

This is a good point. I was going to buy it anyway, but I might keep it on the bars for this alone. What an unforeseen advantage!

This isn’t how it works.

If you’re in dynamic flight mode, it’s a ground mount only.
