Iâm pretty sure that above 2k, VDH are almost exclusively used as tanks in RBGs simply because their mobility. I could be wrong though. Its a rotten shame that blizz has yet to figure out how to properly place tank roles within pvp meta.
You realize how any good WW is able to make it work, and will really only struggle into rogues and palas, and very situationally double wizards, right? And this has been the case since their CREATION.
Iâm not saying itâs optimal, because Iâd rather literally any other melee to a WW, let alone playing my WW, but thatâs the gist. The spec is just simply unfun and telegraphed for the last 4 expacs which has made it extremely uninteresting to play or play with.

I rely on my partners on my boomy just as much as I rely on my partners when I play WW. The difference is how YOUR TEAM helps you. I know itâs weird that when you play 3v3, itâs not a 1v3 bracket and you donât have to do all the work alone. But hey, what do I know, Iâve only done 1v2s and 1v3s since MOP on the spec.
Just because you canât comprehend how to live and setup to your win condition WITH your teammates doesnât just suddenly mean you need to be carried for playing the spec.
Paladins were the only class monk had a hard time with in arena settings, rogues didnât present a problem in the beginning and didnât really until nimble brew was removed
I feel you lost it in the sauce, thatâs been my entire point, itâs not in a good place.
Just because if you try really hard you can get subpar results, but if you used something else with half the effort you would get twice the returns.

If you are relying on your partners and other classes/specs are not, then you are not contributing to the team. It is that simple. You might not be a hard carry but your still only progressing based on your teammates, hence, you are being carried by teammates.
Now a ret will be doing the carrying, a good rogue will be doing the carrying, but a WW in the current state of the game will be running away not helping the team and trying to heal up.
Not even sure why I typed out all of this since it should be 100% obvious. And if you are the kind of person that didnât get the first time I said it then even this explanation wonât help. Enjoy not understanding why AWC teams did not take WW but instead used a brewmaster. Enjoy not understanding your being carried and not doing the carrying. Enjoy your blissful ignorance.

Why would they make Hot Trub have a CC connected to BoF? If they going to remove incendiary breath, donât give another lesser CC that requires BoF. Thatâs just insulting.
If they give Hot Trub a CC (if you purify 100% of your max HP)it should incapacitate everyone within 10 yards just like how the 20%damage is split.

Daze spam was a stupid pvp mechanic that needed to go, but it was literally the only useful thing the spec brought to the table.
They didnât give anything to compensate. It was already a dead spec that had a cheese ability, now its just a dead spec that is buried an extra 6 ft under just for good measure.
Blizz should increase their DPS and make them a true brawler tank spec in PVP. I know they donât want tanks to fill any roles in PVP except for druids flag carrying, but they do still have the opportunity to carve out a niche as a support brawler in team fights.
They definitely not compensating at all. They shouldnât remove the Incendiary Breath, period.
Tanks getting buffs PVP wise is unlikely and will be a long long wait.
I think essentially for pvp changes blizzard is trying to please the high rated arena players. So in this case none of them want tanks in PvP so blizzards stance this expansion has been to nerf all of the tanks in order to make them not viable in PvP.
Makes sense. They donât actually want everyone to keep playing the game, so to cater to high end rated gameplay makes sense.
What they really want is to rotate players from playing and paying for WOW to playing and paying for something else. Seems most of, if not all MMOâs do this. They create conditions to where there will be enough little things that players donât like that they will feel like playing another game.
Itâs like if grocery stores came to an agreement that product A will cost less at Store 1 and Product B will cost less at Store 2 instead of competing with prices.
I donât want to Avert Harm and take Zen Meditation talents for a hot trub bof CC that I donât want to get used to. Random BGs will just be annoying. And RBGs is an extra big pass.
The worst part about this terrible pass on the talent is that it will work very well in RBGs but give zero damage which is the main problem. They need to make it a real DPS increase instead of a daze talent.
