Breaks My Heart

It absolutely breaks my heart when I see the current state of feral. I’ve stuck with it when it was good and bad. Even though there have been more bad times than good, especially with community perception. But, I’m tired. I’m tired of championing a lost cause. I’m looking to switch mains but getting disgusted. This may literally be my exit from wow. I just can’t see putting anymore time into the red headed stepchild of wow.

Go balance.

On the fence about switching to Rogue+Monk for my stealth/mobility/tanking needs.

I just want Feral to be again what made it beautiful my first time, bleeds that felt like a Sin Rogue.

go play cyberpunk 2077, thats my plan

Not sure if ya trolling but that was funny as hell.

I would liked it more if sin rogue made them felt like ferals.

Yeah kinda looking for a new mmorpg to play too.

Balance will balance out soon enough

I’ve heard that for feral too a while ago…

It’s a popular pve spec. it’ll get better probably 9.1,

Don’t give up Sathyr! Try a different specialization! As Shaman, I understand the pain as well, specifically with enhancement. But I also do love playing all my specializations. If one is underperforming I play a different one! Stay strong!

I don’t think the designers for Feral are sure themselves of what direction to take feral, and it shows. There seems to be conflict with whether or not we are a bitey- class or a bleed-y build, and how to go about maintaining the best rotation for either.

Forget the often abandoned idea of making bleed debuffs boost the effectiveness of bites or vise versa.-- Nah, let’s just add a cat-moonfire that isn’t affected by mastery. And let’s make sure your ferocuous Bite’s best dmg hinges on waiting till you having 50+ energy so they have to wait before dropping some sick bite, then scramble to keep the rest of bleeds up during your short-lived dmg buff window. And let’s add Savage Roar as an option to bloat the already clunky rotation set-up to do barely average dps. None of these talents actually improve the dps so much as they add another hurdle. That’s why the general go- to feral talent guides almost always opt for the talent that adds less to the rotation. (Is it optimal? No, but is it more functional while dealing with mechanics? Arguably, yes.)

This is coming back in part of the conduit system though

conduit got nerfed by like 2.4% from past build, i don’t see feral changing after getting a slight buff and then a nerf in another way.

Tired of this intern tier balancing. They don’t know what they’re doing.

So far, in each expansion, we were either massively OP (once) or broken (all the other times). In every case they “fixed” things in .1 or .2.

I was a druid in beta (for plains running cow), vanilla (innervate bot), BC (tanky tanky), LK (feral), and so on. I was a druid when getting into MC meant to get killed by every class on the planet, because all we could do is heal through damage and hope guildies would arrive. I was a druid when the only tanking gear we could get was one dodge ring from Zul Farak.

My advice: stick it out. The FOTM players will leave the class, and in .2 we’ll be better.

cant fix the inherent flaws of a boomy. look at mythic orgazoa parses and then tell me boomy was a good class in BFA.

I miss this ability the most. I wish they kept this in.

Wotlk John Madden Feral was my favourite. The most pvp I did.

I’ve been so much considering this too this last week after playing alt war n rogue.

It’s funny all these people talking about leaving the class and here I am thinking of going back to it after two expansions away. I have been playing feral alittle because I love my rogue and enjoying feral would make it easier to switch ( i like all the other speccs). I just find that feral is alot slower than rogue, but that maybe more of a gear and having the correct stats issue.

I have also been enjoying enhance so I am not a trust worthy source. I was actually thinking about switching to preist because I like disc healing, then everyone seemed to go shadow because it got strong and I lost interest.

With good gear, feral is pretty fast paced on trash packs in keys. Rake spreading and all of the extra tiger’s fury procs you get from predator talent will keep you hitting lots of buttons.

On an ST boss, yeah, be prepared to microsleep while you pool energy.

Since we gave tiger’s fury to rogue, can we get Shadow Techniques.
