Classic is the easiest iteration of WoW. I played Classic re-release fresh. There’s no skill, only knowledge. If you know, you win.
Is it bad on LFR too? Pls say no
I was -really- hoping for the nothingburger.
Why would they drop a prog raid a month and a half into the current season?
(That said, just going off of comments here, I haven’t touched BRD yet).
As a Mid-Late tier Mythic raider (usually 6-7/8M) and currently 3/8M… the first boss with a 15 man mythic raid 625 ilvl team struggled, got the first boss down but damn… that felt really excessive.
I’d LOVE it to stay this hard but at least drop mythic loot and crests for the work.
We had healers doing more HPS than Heroic Ansurek we killed 20 mins before.
Heroic is over tuned. Normal is fine, just brute force that stuff.
Idk, but I had a 70 ret pally in greens doing 12million sustain DPS for LFR. Thinking about throwing together a normal run with 70s only to see what happens.
Sounds just like m+ this season.
We got to Golem Lord Argelmach on heroic. Not going to lie it was tricky. Stuff hitting the tanks for 8.4 million a shot hurts. But it was fun getting that far.
Its artificial time gating. So they can say “We fixed it! We are hero’s!!” After everyone complains.
The gear rewards dont match the difficulty. It’s not that it’s mechanically challenging, but rather the numbers tuning is off by a full difficulty level (ie, normal difficulty is tuned to what heroic bornally is).
So basically,
Mythic raiders find heroic overtuned, but normal ok.
Heroic raiders find heroic near impossible, and normal overtuned.
It’s an interesting you have to basically be one tier above the intended audiance to find the content mangeable.
Like, at 613, am I supposed to struggle in a normal BRD for essentially 0 upgrades?
This is exactly what is happening and folks are not happy.
I’ve been reading A LOT about this.
and it’s incredible how it’s not even just a pug thing.
The number of heroic guilds that walked into a normal, or mythic guilds that went into a heroic, all expecting a fun beer run, suddenly found themselves wiping on the first few bosses!
Well. I’m glad I was too laggy to try that last night too. lol.
this is exactly why I joined last night and exactly what happened to us. 3 hours wipe fest.
I can’t imagine it’s intended as progression raid, right?
I mean, it’s capped at 15, which already makes it an issue for most.
The third boss is also proving to be a solid wall for most, so I expect the first nerfs to happen there. Meanwhile, guy has more mechanics than the first four bosses in nerub palace combined. This guy feels on par with Queen with the constant mechanics and non-stop movement.
I’d almost be fine with bone-breaking difficulty but you can’t requeue because of the way the event is set up.
You get unlucky with a bad tank/ healer or people start leaving, your instance is boned.
That doesn’t sound like a fun anniversary event to me.
“On lfr” … duh
I heard heroic was tough but normal should not be to bad, I have only done the LFR and some bosses felt way stronger than others, out of the main 8. Like Roccar seemed way stronger than Insendious.
You know, I honestly respect LFR quite a bit.
However, to have people who cleared LFR tell people who did normal or heroic that it’s fine - it’s so illogical, I’m not sure where to even begin.
They mean heroic
