San Paulo in Brazil is specifically broken out as a separate timezone.

QED there are separate servers.

The major problem is not even the language barrier, it’s the latency differential. NA players will play with 15ms and Brazilians will play with 150ms.

Ay so are you gonna level a balance druid in Classic? I can’t get anyone to engage with me about it, other than parroting stereotypes about efficiency.

I’m going Feralesto, because there’s enough interconnected talents to be viable as a 5-man healer or tank.

Valid. What are your thoughts about leveling balance? Other than that it will take longer. I’m simply not interested in healing, and I prefer the flavor of balance magic to feral combat.

Ever since we got Moonkin form, its been a valid spec. If you want to level Balance, level Balance. I was considering going MoonResto based on not having two sets of gear, and I might still. It’ll definitely be a bit slower than pure Feral though.

If you want to level Balance, you do you. There’s nothing wrong with it.

If this were true and I happened to encounter many non-English speaking players, I guess I’ll just have to use emotes? I’ll try to make it work regardless, if we insist on staying in the same dungeon.

Yes the server will still be on Chicago. But Brazilians will play with Brazilians, instead of playing in “NA focused” servers. Azralon in Retail is like that, a Brazilian focused server. Playing with same latency players. Get it?

Block Portugese/spanish addon just like I have to use BLOCK CHINESE mod on illidan.

Completely removes anyone speaking those languages from all chat channels and lfg/whisper etc…

It will only be a problem if they make up a large portion of your server.
