Anyone else having stupid levels of lag in SSvTM? I never lag, and I’ve got friends who never lag, but this BG is ridiculous. Even lower graphics and addons turned off does nothing.

It’s not on your end, the servers/instances/shards can’t handle that many people using abilities at once.
I get 200 fps on ultra and still get massive delay on all my abilities in large PvP scenarios like 40v40 with all my settings turned down.
2 raids on top of each other spamming everything they have the entire time.
Yes it’s very laggy, you can lower your graphic settings, that should help some.

It’s funny because 40v40 in classic doesn’t lag.
I’m guessing it could be due to all the rng on rng with all the spells, azerite, procs, etc. Too many calculations at once can cause a server to lag.

you have to remember 40v40 BGs were created at a time when there was minimal RNG. by that i mean there were very few procs per a character, lets say in vanilla there was a few talents and maybe a trinket that would have a chance to proc, that’s like spinning 4 wheels. times that by 40 that’s 160 MAX on screen at once. now each character I’d say woudl have 25+ things that could proc from azerite, trinkets, corruptions, essences, talents, etc. that’s 1000 spin of the wheels at once, you think the servers can handle that?
PS those numbers are bs but you know what i mean TONS more behind the scenes procing to calculate
PPS as side note something most people probably don’t know this is main reason why GCD change happened, spamming skills all at once was really just adding the lag mess so if you can’t spam as many abilities at once… blizzard aren’t stupid they know it doesn’t feel good
