Over an hour and 20 minutes and it’s still not working for many of us.
They were so worried people would level from 50-51 too fast they nerfed BfA XP potions at the last minute. Wonder what level we’d be if we could actually play?

Idk why we expect anything different. Its only been 16 years and they cant learn how to do a damn launch correctly.

Hope we don’t see an interview with Ion in a week where he has the audacity to say the launch went relatively well after thousands of people were unable to play for 2 hours+

“Character not found” on Demon Soul… had the same thing happen when Blizzard did the level squish… this is unacceptable

This is not good for the game, we lost some players during WoD launch and it will happen again.
Got booted from the server 2 hours before launch, and been unable to log in ever since. Oh joyous day!
They deserve it if that happens again. They knew from the past to have extra log in servers/shard servers and yet look where we are. 16 years and after 1 very good launch (legion) and 1 ok one (BFA) that when you funnel players in one direction all at once this happens.
Judging by all the complaint threads it seems the servers did not want to brave the beyond into the Shadowlands 
. Meanwhile over on EQ, and ESO the servers are working perfectly hahaha.

How are the servers doing?
I wonder how it is going. How many players came back and are participating. Some people say launch was rough, others say it was smooth. So not sure which one is fact. I do know I am not seeing a lot of people flooding the forums with posts about bugs though. So that’s a good thing. Was really concerned about it being too buggy to play.
I have a strange feeling I am not going to know for like a week or two. It will come tho.
So… around 10am West Coast/CA time got on Illidan no problem,.
Now 2:00pm/5:00pm east coast… and wait for it…

well only about 15 minutes at east coast rush hour.
Cause people are working instead of on their planned vacations…
After playing a few days I feel as if SL is just another Legion-esque expansion very reminiscent of Argus. Where are the gorgeous, inviting well layed out maps like Tiragarde Sound? BFA was pure perfection, whereas Bastion feels like an eye straining wasteland with an annoying ethereal glow that doesn’t improve w/turning my monitor all the way down. Very disappointed in these areas, ugly and uninteresting. The animals are Legion all over again. This really has started off very dissapointing.
