Boxes Nerfed For NO REASON?

Whoever said the items were useless weren’t right then but are now

It’s almost like there’s more than one point of view on just about anything.

Well theres zero incentive for tanks / healers with these new bags. If it gave gold at least then that would be okay.

Um it’s called fixing the game. Sorry silver platters

I don’t mind the concept of the box itself but I got to admit, after box #3593 it almost convinced me to join team NoChanges out of the sheer amount of stuff my bags had to deal with.

Assuming you’re in wraith content - you’d be hard pressed not to get a box. I’ve gotten 10+ just doing quests in HF.

Exactly! It gives boxes to anyone who quests too. Not only tank and heal.

The boxes needed a nerf, most elixirs still selling for vendor price even with the nerf.

Not sure what was nerfed though, I did 4 dungeons on my healer last night and got elixirs in each bag as well as plenty of mana/hp pots. I thought you were supposed to get ores/cloth.

With the amount of mana pots flooding the market and how cheap they are I literarily didn’t even stop to drink, I just pop a mana potion every now and then.

Not only that, but I’m starting to stack up on elixirs for my alts so they literarily never need to buy any elixir.

Elixirs are still worthless…

The bags need to give just straight up gold or crafts from all professions equally.

People here who only care about themselves are selfish instead of banding together to get a proper mechanic; they only care about their own experience but not what’s healthy for the game overall.

As I said before, people who only tank for the goodie bag are just as bad as people who spam chat ‘selling tank services 50g’

Scummy tanks.

I don’t know my bag rewards just take up space now, 1 cloth, 1 ore, 1 herb. RARELY a gem. They are useless now. At least give 5 cloth or 5 ore. They went too far in the other direction. Why the hell do I want level 65 water?

What bags are you getting? I literarily never got cloth or ores in mine.

And yeah I noticed they give TBC era food and honestly they should be giving TBC elixirs instead of Wrath elixirs… The buff is still just as good to help you quest/level.

Unless the boxes were changed to dailies or similar, it’s not unexpected. People are SPAMMING dungeon groups to 80, their tank and heal prob make a grand total of 1k potions.

It will drop back down but it will take some time, I’ve been alch for years and if it brings you any comfort, I’m not switching from it ever, Blood tank btw.

In other words, elixirs will continue to flood the market for the next few months…

And yet you still have no problem with this huh?

if I made predictions as specific as that, I might as well become a day trader. So no, nobody knows.

The boxes got nerfed,. what more do you want? All economic problems won’t be fixed overnight!

Maybe the quest boxes but the dungeon boxes didn’t

Which do you think is easier to spam and accumulate hundreds of loot boxes? Quests you can only do once, or dungeons you can do every 20 minutes…

Would’ve been better if again, they only gave gold or crafts from all professions. Not just the questing boxes but all boxes.

It was making alchemy completely useless… of course it got nerfed

There very much was a reason, it was destroying alchemy for anything beyond flasks or transmutes within the first week.

Dungeon farming up to 77, we had several dozen stacks of elixirs. Within the first 2 days of launch elixirs were selling on AH for less than vendor price. That’s comically bad…

Last time i checked they only nerfed quest boxes and the tank/healing boxes stayed the same

That’s a lot of boxes still.

Just clarification, did they change something again today? Because late last night after the questing box nerf, the tanking dungeon box seems to be the same as before (sample size of 1)

It was a tons of consumes sure. But a lot of them were consumes that were useless to my class as well.

OH thanks blizz for that mana pot.

Plus it affected alchemist selling those pots.
