Bought Epic outland pack, Account got banned, need Customer Support assistance

Hello guys,

I was about to play WoW ( TBC,GOATED ) so pumped i just learned 150 riding skill , planned to grind a couple level today.
By the time i logged on, was doing tailoring on my paladin(66), also leveling tailoring aswell and made conjured waters / foods on my mage(62) ( both bought the Epic Outland Pack ), about to do a dungeon quest run.
All of that actions luckily recorded by myself, please Blizzard, take a look onto my videos that i linked on the appeal ticket
not long after.. BAM !
i got Kicked from the game on both WoW Windows, said its Account has been closed and no longer available for use.

Spent about 140 USD on The Outland pack, the time and effort i put on leveling proffessions, grinded for 150 Riding skill etc.

Never traded anything like bulk of mats, gold, with anyone else ( except for conjured water and food ), all strictly come from my personal Bank and Guild Bank between my own accounts.
Never said anything unnecessary words on LFG ,Trade chat nor anywhere else.
I’ve read the ToS, Code of Conduct, EULA more than once, didnt do anything unusual or violates the rules.
Just a man who wants to play the game, that loves the Xpac yet got banned.
was this is an error of the algorithm that i triggered, if so from what source ?

would you please guide me through this ? especially with the Blues please help me out
Would deeply appreciate any help or advice to get back into the game.

Thanks everyone !

You received a response in the first thread you posted in. You’ll want to follow that advice if you hope to have the decision appealed.

Just get your appeal in, you don’t really need to put more in it than what you had in your post. While normally I would say your chances are low to have it overturned, we have seen with the recent banwave that there were more false positives than normal, most related to people in TBC, so assuming your details were accurate, I would be more optimistic in this case.

You mentioned two accounts banned. Are both in your legal name, address, and match?

Hello,
yes one with my legal name, all information legit matched, the other one have my childhood imaginary name other than that all other information is legit.
havent heard back from them :worried:

This would absolutely cause issues. We agree when we create our accounts to use our legal name. This could very well be what’s causing the issue.

Here’s hoping your appeal can help clear that up…but it will depend on how “imaginary” the name is :expressionless:

Hello there,
They just resolved my ticket, with an automated messages
without any reviews from my video / screenshot links that i provide to proof how i played my accounts.

should be a problem they can just type something to see all history, actions i’ve made lets say all time ?.

i will send another ticket hoping to get an actual Customer support would that work ?

All of your evidence means squat they go by there own internal logs every ticket is manualynreciewed by a real gm.

With a template response. Regardless, that is your answer.

Correct. This is not a “show me your screenshot” situation. Blizzard goes by their internal logs, and nothing else.

How you play likely has nothing to do with it. The issue has probably already been pinpointed:

You are always welcome to put in another appeal until they tell you that you’re done and they won’t respond anymore.

But you already received the support you asked for in your appeal. You may not like the answer, but it is your answer.

Yep ‘template’ , still yeah thats a response,
In my opinion ,if they have look at the internal logs these kinda things would not be happening.
Also in my clear state of mind, we, as a Customer , who paid for the game we played, such as :

  1. Monthly Subscription / Xpac Purchases
  2. Epic Outland Pack / Character Boost
  3. Character Name Change / Transfer
  4. Cosmetics, pets etc.

We deserved an actual Support, an actual conversation regading this matter, not an automated / template response.

appreciate you for saying the truth, and yeah like it or not, thats all i got.

The system never worked that way u could never talk to a GM about a apeal even the phone # wasnt for that its always apeal apeal apeal till they tell u to stop.

Wish me luck !

Appeals have never had this sort of interaction, but it would be a good suggestion to hope they might implement it in the future.

But you’d need to use the in-game suggestion tool or make a post over on the Support Site Feedback forum.

It’s because they look at their internal logs that “these things happen”. There are rules that you agreed to follow, one of them being that you use your real information when you set up an account. If you play multiple accounts and the names don’t match, then you are either account sharing (against the rules), or you didn’t use your correct information (against the rules).

This has been told to you multiple times, and you continue to ignore it.

What you have spent is irrelevant. What matters here is whether or not you broke the rules.

You received actual support. You just don’t like the answer. Paying for the game does not mean you will always get the answer you want.

Not from Blizzard. It’s already 3-4 days for tickets with template responses in this high volume time. If they had to stop to type out the same information 50 times per day, ticket times would be through the stratosphere.

Every company in the world uses template responses. Not only does it save time, but it ensures that every person is getting the same information. No human error in omitting a vital piece of information that would cause even more confusion.

Plus, the added benefit of cutting out a WoW player’s favorite pasttime: whining incessantly to try and get their way or talk their way out of an account action. Which is exactly what you seem to want to do.

Here’s some good news: correct the false account information, and Blizzard is generally willing to remove the action because you took the steps to fix the issue. But if you’re not going to fix it, then there’s nothing that we, or Blizzard, can do for you. They are not going to consider overturning it until the information is corrected.

Using a fake name is not legit and will get you banned.
