You do realize for an outdated, hardly visited zone like Netherstorm there is probably only 2 shards (wm on/off) at a given time, right? Your realm doesn’t mean anything.

Also, out of all the things to complain about, people farming Mechanar till their eyes bleed has literally zero effect on you. They aren’t hoarding your instance lockouts or anything.

well… they’re farming things to put on the auction house wich means that the value of the gold I make in game as a human being is reduced

They are farming vendor trash my guy. Also, hardly anything that drops in BC besides like 0.1% droprate transmog is worth anything. A couple people getting 3-4k gold an hour is a literal drop in the overal economy and thus hardly affects you.

Are you really defending botting? xd

When it literally does nothing? Idc what they are doing same with boxers. These bots aren’t going around sniping herbs on an entire Naz shard. Them existing affects no one since they are farming an uncontestable resource.

are you saying gold doesn’t mean anything in game?

They’re using bots to farm gold to sell for real money. This is against the ToS and is indefensible, whether it affects you or not.

We know who uses bots in this thread now.

Imagine being so bored you are willing to start an argument and defend botting, yikes.

This is how it works with bots to be honest. Just a game of cat and mouse. As Blizzard blocks a loophole, another is found and exploited. Botters create new accounts and get back to work. Blizzard closes that loophole and kicks the botters out. Then the cycle repeats. It will be this way until the end of time.

well. if they ban bots often, the people behind botting won’t make enough gold for their expenses.

If they ban often, the botting won’t be lucrative

Botting is part of the reason why we have instance limits.
They negatively impact me during holiday events with queueable bosses.

Also that gold goes into the economy of the game, inflating prices and promoting RMT via 3rd parties.

I love bots, they keep mat prices down so I never need to farm.

Maybe. This topic is talking about one type of bots there are many others. If Blizzard spends too much time on bot control, they won’t be as profitable either.

Tough situation because it hurts the integrity of the game.

I mean, I don’t want to, and whenever they get banned mat prices skyrocket making it more expensive to get pots and flasks.
