Botting 12+ hours a day for months

I’ve been watching a bot for 6 months. Minimum of 12 hours a day in twilight highlands… I’ve reported them in person. I’ve emailed blizzard 3 times about it… and here it is still everyday herbing/mining 12+ hours every single day…

its just so easy to write a script that doesnt even interact with game files or memory, a second year CS student can do that.

The cost of implementing the anti-botting detection isn’t actually that cheap. If a script or hack doesn’t interact the game file, Blizz will have to develop some anti-cheat that runs in the backend system, or use subjective judgement on a case by case basis (report overview) which is also very costly.

So no, from a financial perspective Blizz will not and should not care about botting.

They shouldn’t care about the integrity of their biggest game? Then more and more people will unsub and start playing on private servers or other mmos.

no they wont because it’s been like this since the beginning. You learn to live with it.

so you have been watching a bot for ove 12 hours a day every day for 6 months…sound a little sus to me.

We listen and don’t judge.

Blizz doesn’t care. The bots and whales they sell to mean more to Blizz than you do.

Easy solution merge all the PvP servers then people can spawn camp the bots.
