Bots ruining the economy and using the money to purchase from merch store

Yessssssss.

You’ve seen me repeatedly say “drop the bias and we can agree bots are bad.” What you said is exactly what I meant.

Raiders and high-level mythic players are a very small amount of the population compared to the rest of the players. your argument is them stealing the routes from players is good because it gives you cheaper gear.

my argument is that is putting the needs of a few over the many is not the play. blizz is a aaa company.

and yes, i realize nothing is easy in coding, however, the basic function and process is trivial. the code is already there for bot movement detection, the hard part would be introducing a new function to the farming zones, and adding a trigger that pops. at first it will be expensive, but once they train their new deep learning guys on it, it will improve.

and just so we’re clear, blizz can easily eat the cost and don’t even need the trigger, but with a trigger they save even more money

No it’s not, holy hell you need some education

nice insult, but i’m educated. please keep it civil.

And yes, i do have games on the steam store.

Actually you are not, go back and look through all your rants and you will notice so many mistakes in grammar and spelling, Also to say something that is against ToS when in fact it’s not shows your lack of knowledge and therefore makes you seem dumb.

It’s called business casual and ya i have some typos, i’m tired and don’t feel like editing when my point is getting across. you don’t need full punctuation on a forum. i just like how it looks. there are actually a few styles, but going full MLA, in my opinion, looks bad in a casual environment.

keep it above the belt. have an argument, not a personal attack.

I’ve actually not stated my opinion on bots. Read the thread again and you’ll see that. You are making bad arguments. I am able to see a bad argument both when I agree and when I disagree with a position.

You say that raiders and high-end mythic players don’t matter because they’re such a small portion of the community (I do find it interesting that you keep extending who doesn’t matter) but you didn’t address everything else. Almost every player has benefited from cheaper materials. Everyone who has bought a potion, used a scroll, equipped a bag etc has benefited. Why do the wants of the few (gatherers) outweigh the benefits of the many (everyone who has ever bought a crafted item).

Honestly, I’m wondering if we’re getting trolled.

Did we take the bait?

So if every player benefits, remove the ah and just sell potions on vendors. It’s not hurting new players to pay 120 for a pot.

The major issue is bots stealing the routes which is making it so players can’t play the game as it is intended.

Just not worth cheaper pots for raiders to break an entire section of the game.

I have nothing against raiders, just seems kind of odd that’s your argument – everyone benefits from bots.

Bots shouldn’t shape the economy, people want to farm because its fun. People can’t farm because bots are swarming and taking everything.

Yeah, we’re getting trolled and we all took the bait.

You did it well. Credit to you.

insulting me is just making your argument seem weaker.

anyways, thanks for your time.

I complimented you on a job well done. It was very well done.

I’m a little embarrassed I took it tbh and I took it for so long.

Maybe! Hopefully?

Calling you a troll is a compliment.

THEY CAN get AROUND IT. What do you not understand. Even if blizz detects it will NOT stop them. You clearly no nothing how how things work. etc.

Botter 1: O I was ban welp time to make another account and conitnue
Botter 2: Welp time to use a different program.

^
That’s how they get around detections. It will not always work and will NOT permanently stop them.

They admitted to trolling…0.o Welp yep took the bait.
