Now bots will flood the lower levels and make gold how they do in retail. Bots can make a significant amount of gold at lower levels before they get caught especially if you have mutliple running.
Blizzard has to make buying gold from third party sources unattractive.
Maybe through legalizing gold purchase via wow tokens.
Just ban gold buyers. how hard is this?

They are, but due to the need players still use gold buying sites cause thats their only option.
Its only legacy an issue mostly.
some tin foil about DF flight is this canāt be as easily botted. I had a retail moment last night. I never really trained my dragon. I was landing a lot since the dragon got tired. at least the bgās were popping which was why I was there lol.
the druids, for now, canāt num lock afk to nodes in DF content. at least not as easy in legacy content.
legacy is farmed for mog hunters. they want the mogs, donāt want to mine say wrath cobalt. Bot miners fill that cobalt up lol. Alchemists get ocd moments too. I wonāt lie, my druid alchemist took the time to work all alchemy. I AHād some mats since I have way more gold in retai.
Part of the reason DF is not as attractive is because you need to buy an expansion to play which is expensive for botters.
Wrath just requires a subscription not an entire expansion to play.

the most known ones are the teams who are legit top 10 contenders for WFR.
Blizzard actually works OT to watch them. as at least for final raid wing of BFA one WFR team found a nice little bug while streaming.
and second laterā¦ALL raid instances were shut down. A boss was supposed to go to a phase with a raid wrecking mechanic. It didnāt fire up due to glitch.
echo, or limitā¦usually 1 of these 2 is WFR, was about to walk casually into a WFR.
raid pulled game wide, hot patched to be up in under a day.
Tl;drā¦blizzard is well aware WFR teams RMT. they are also the best beta testers. they wont be banning the top 10 guilds of retail.

and then we wait 2-3 days to see if someont drops dimes to see it the winnerā¦is actually the champion.
eve has had a few years CCP games disqualifed first and second place finishers (at least) for a few reasons.
Rigging, collusion, cheating in ways not covered aboveā¦
so a week later we know who our tourney champion of eve is. it wasā¦the 4th place finisher. Who was now #1 after all the disqualiifications.
Iād of been impressed if they did this 6 months ago. But for them to do it at the end of the quarter, and being smart enough to realise they wonāt ban another bot for another 6 months Iām not going to give them credit where credit is due. This is like congratulating some dude for coming to work even though heās 6 hours late.

You donāt think an alternative could be for the company to devote a miniscule amount of their profits to employing 1 person to track and ban bots is a realistic alternative? You want to just instantly turn the game into p2w?
