Bots banned and new DK creation restrictions!

They’re all over Retail. They just serve a different purpose. My point was the token didn’t get rid of bots.

People just want to legally buy gold. Why? Because of GDKPs. Swipe your card for gold and buy your gear with that gold. There’s the Spirit of Classic I’m after!!

I saw a DK train in WG, and I busted up laughing. Our team completely trashed the DK bots charging blindly into us. We proceeded to crush that WG handidly.

Log into retail and find me one bot :skull:

GDKPs actually got less popular after the token came out

I would think they got less popular because of personal loot, not the token.

Personal loot came out 2 expansions after. GDKP lost traction before that

It shifted from GDKPs to charging for carries and loot to 1 or 2 people because of mythic raiding being harder to carry more people

Retail is at the point with token the only people who use seem to use the 3rd party gold oddly enough are the “pro” teams of the WFR race and top 100 hall of famers.

Quite a few of the usual WFR/hall of fame top 100 guild race have been dimed out for 3rd party gold.

why? tokens at some point cap out. forget its number but you can only do so much before you have to wait for a cooldown basically.

so they 3rd partied because they need say 30 million gold, NOW!. RMT has no waiting period.

Credit where credit is due, this is a good move by Blizzard.

Shouldve been done earlier obviously, but still a good decision.

If tokens were added, I would buy just enough to pay for epic flying on all my characters. I don’t need to buy gear because I raid with my guild, and there aren’t really a lot of other gold costs in Wrath.

I haven’t played Dragonflight, but the last time I saw obvious bots in Retail was BfA.

Yes, but you can’t just ignore the fact GDKPs are rampant in Wrath. Just imagine the impact when players can legally buy gold.

I got a good laugh last week when I saw someone spamming chat advertising a Naxx GDKP. Imagine paying for last tier’s loot.

I’d pay for a naxx gdkp on my alt, easy way to get geared up with no loot drama. Why else are people going to spend 3 hours to run you through a non skip naxx?

LOL just like clockwork.

DF patch is done > time to fix WOTLK’s dumpsterfire > do small fix that should of been there day 1> Ignore game until next patch for DF > repeat.

Back in original Wrath you could do that just by grinding Emblems from Heroics with RDF, but the Bonehead Classic Clowns removed it.

This is all I want.

Maybe finally cover some dual spec costs. and close out trainings.

I mix in bg anywhere with gold spamming for my play time window.

If bg is jumping…I am there most of the night. and there went that 2 hour window lol. I am poor but content. I get the pvp I like…but I am usually broke after gemming up new gear a lot lol.

NGL, this char if I take here out of combat spec gets expensive. A long list of skill not paid for. not even rank 1, let alone a say rank 8.
She has been combat since level 10 lol.

My paladin has never been prot or holy. My dk has never been frost. all my chars miss many skills.

Loot drama in Naxx? Just join a group that does soft reserve and MS>OS. Anyone doing Naxx now is on an alt and only cares about the gear as a means for getting into Ulduar.

Win turning tide for 3k or lose turning tide to the lowest performing caster in the pug because they had a better /roll?

Its not a hard decision

That’s exactly what I did in OG Wrath. I did a few raids, but most of my gear came from emblems and heroics.
