Zones like Hillsbrad Foothills have been taken over by them. Surely more can be done about them given their current strategies aren’t working. The Token is not a solution! I don’t get paid to report bots, and neither does any of the rest of us. We’re susposed to be able to play and have fun, not do unpaid labor. The economy is in shambles after barely a week. Wool Cloth is going for 50s/stack… We’ve had 5-10% inflation per day for the last week, which isn’t normal even for a new server.
lol wut? price of goods going up is a good thing.
Username checks out.
The bots are out of control AND because everyone is level 25 the market is FLOODED with materials for crafting. Making them DIRT CHEAP. I thought herbalism and mining were supposed to get you good money… Now I might as well go farm world drop BoE’s for better money. On my server it would take 2000 Kingsblood to make the money needed for ONE decent world blue BoE.
i think it all boils down to people not knowing whats valuable and what isnt. Kingsblood is worthless, its always been worthless. Blackmouth fish, gravemoss, swiftthisle, and kelp have been the hotter items. wool/linen cloth have been worthless since the start. Also your forgetting once everyone hits 25, they work on proffs. stop living in your own bubble.
Right because at 25 on SoD - Shadow Protection Potions, Elixir of Firepower, and Elixir’s of Ogre’s Strength are not good. Looks like you know nothing about SoD.
whats harder to find kingsbloom or grave moss? why is grave moss priced 80s per 1 while kingsbloom is 11silver for a stack? you can find Kingsbloom ANYWHERE. grave moss only around very specific locations. whats in ogre’s strength? Earthroot and Kingsblood, herbs you can find ANYWHERE, thats why its only 4 silver to buy the potion. Thus im going back to what i was originally saying, you guys do not know the actual value to most of the items in wow. thats why your broke with maybe 10g complaining that bots are killing the market on low level items or most common found items.
i know classic players aren’t the smartest but lord have mercy.
whats in shadow protection potions?
and you use shadow protection pots on the 2nd to last boss in bfd
It would literally take a GM maybe 2-3 hours to go from server to server and visit each farming hotspot. Bots are usually very obvious; they try to attack mobs stuck in terrain, ignore pvp all together even to their detriment and they always follow the same attack patterns.
In fact I would volunteer to do this for free if they allowed me to. It would require absolutely 0 effort but this will never happen because bots pay subs too.
Sadly bots are another sub on blizz’s paper. Though I’d argue if they were more active in banning them they could get even more subs cause they have to make new accounts to do it again.
Can you report some of the locations for these bots? You come complain you gotta provide some data to support it.
Exactly. Anyone here could do it, and would do it if Blizz vetted a volunteer team. But they won’t because they actually encourage botting. The banwave model is proof. After a banwave, botters know they can just buy a new sub and bot freely for months without any concern. If blizzard actually fixed the problem, which they easily could do as explained, then it wouldn’t be profitable for botters, and they’d stop. Blizzard doesn’t want that.
They only ban in waves because thats when it will be too late for the botters to chargeback their monthly subs.
They said that, but that’s not the only reason. Also, that’s an admission that they want botter money and don’t “really” stop them because then they’d not get said botter money.
