Both boomy and feral do almost no prio and are about 30k behind on single target. Real bummer.

For the first time since Wrath I had to park my feral and switch to my Warlock. They pruned way too much. Our cooldowns have been gutted over the years and now we have no good sustained. It’s 20 seconds of damage followed by 1.5 min of down time and hitting like a wet noodle. It sucks

I can’t speak to Feral but not sure why the Boomy angle confuses you. With the exception of a few tiers, Boomy has always lacked somewhat in Prio/ST. That’s been part of the spec design forever.
I love playing Boomy but you can’t expect a spec to be the one of the best, tier after tier, in terms of AoE and Cleave AND absolutely pump in ST/Prio too. Specs have trade-offs and unlike Mage/Warlock/Hunter, Druid has 1 RDPS spec so you sacrifice some things.
Boomy does what it does. AoE & Cleave. That’s the spec.

Yeah I get that, but we also lack survivability. Swapping to bear form isn’t a defensive. I shouldn’t have to sacrifice what single target damage I DO have because I have a singular defensive CD.
Situationally I get swapping, as a big “Oh SH**” is coming….but bear form in and of itself shouldn’t be considered a defensive when you completely lose uptime.

Pretty much. And it’s a very stupid statement anyway, considering multiple specs don’t have this supposed “tradeoff.” It’s simply improper game design, full stop.

No boomy has regularly had good ST, I think maybe you dont know what youre talking about?
We’ve always been seen as the “jack of all trades, master to none” kinda Class. I used to think it was fine because it didn’t bother me that my numbers weren’t as high as “pure” Classes but I could fulfill any role. Nowadays I feel like we need to be put on an even playfield due to how much the game’s changed.

both classes are just outdated, and got perma nerfed with every xpac
i dont even wanna start with heart of the wild soul of the forest, apex, survival instincts what had 2 charges, longer duration, bearform more armor value, regrowth more heal
meaningful bite dmg better mobility
owl the unique cat blink etc…
while other classes got buffed over time, best example mage with 2x blink stun…
assa rogue a bleed soul swap
warri double charge shorter cd on heroic leap

Speaking for feral, I’ve never seen an exodus like this with this spec and some long time players. Even amazing ferals are switching off or just quiting. This is frightening as a lover of the feral lore. I myself am moving on to a meta spec like a wheeb.

I truly believe the midnight rework for feral completely killed the spec in a raid setting. Like it just completely demolished what small niche feral had in raid, now its simply lack luster in every department. The is no niche in raid for a sustain single target damage spec. In the war within at least the spec had very good burst damage so it was actually pretty good on fights like dimensius and nexus king. Now i hit the boss and barely beat people that are doing both aoe and single target. Only another rework is saving this spec to be honest, now amount of plastered on 3% buffs are doing it.
