I said I would be fine with them removing the boosts on the condition that the aoe cap was in place, in order to find out how many of the anti boosters here are simply mages wanting to make gold from boosting.
Well no need to worry, the boost is here and the aoe cap will be here in prepatch.
Just makes 0 sense it’s not
They are releasing the other classes for each faction so raid is equal but they won’t release the new leveling system or the nerfed xp for us to level?
It just doesn’t make sense it’s also not how they have done literally every xpac.
To me, that’s completely irrelevant until there’s new information that makes it relevant. Technically, you’re right in that we don’t 100% know how it’s going to go down, but there’s zero reason to think that it will go any other way than it has for 15+ years.
It’s a reason, but not what I’d consider compelling. The same way I’d say not wanting to run into cobra is a reason not to go into my basement bathroom. Could there be a cobra in there? Yeah, there could. But is there a reason to suspect that when I open the door I’ll see a cobra staring back at me instead of my trusty porcelain throne? No, not really.
A more accurate analogy would be that you KNOW theres a snake in the bathroom, you just dont know if its poisonous or if it will bite you. We know TBC is coming, we just dont know how they will bring it…yet.
In his scenario he has used that bathroom for 15+ years, there has never been a snake.
The 15 years would represent it being the same, like the way blizzard does prepatch.
The snake would be the way prepatch has changed, which has never happened.
Wow classic and retail are not the same. Wow classic has not been out for 15+ years, retail has. Stop comparing the two. Just stop it.
I only use retail as an example because it’s the newest pre-patch.
You can apply what I said to retail to literally every expansion.
Go back in time and apply it to Tbc actual pre patch.
Now go back in time and apply to actual WOTLK pre patch.
Then continue through each of the expansions
They have always had the same exact method for every prepatch
You are comparing the history of 1 rendition of a video game to a completely separate rendition of it. We have been over this already. People need to stop arguing for the sake of arguing or being right. You can not apply the history of retail to that of wow classic, even if you are right in this specific instance, you still cant. One does not influence the other.
Yes I’m comparing how history repeats itself.
There is no reason to suggest that they’re going to do anything different than what they’ve done for the last 15 plus years.
Let me guess after they do it the exact same way they’ve done it in Tbc classic. When they launch WOTLK classic you’re still going to sit here and probably question how they’re going to release pre patch.
Only a fool thinks they are right while staring into the face of ignorance.
I’m going to finish with this and you can have the last word if you want.
What I’m saying is an opinion, you are correct.
However my opinion is backed by 15+ years of data to support my opinion.
Your opinion of me being wrong on this isn’t backed up by any data, there is no supporting evidence to contradict what I’m saying is wrong as it has never been any other way.
My opinion isn’t just a guess, it’s an educated guess based on 15+ years of supporting data.
think you mean up coming pally booster
Thanks for framing your argument as me trying to have the last word. You do not have 15 years of data. For this argument retail doesnt exist. you have WoW classic as data. Thats it. You keep pulling retail data into this argument like it holds weight, when it doesnt. We are no longer on the same topic when you try to argue that.
What’s funny too is in pre-patch it’s going to have the AOE cap and you can get rank 14 gear with Honor.
So all the Pally boosters are going to be decked starting out.
I still don’t think they’re going to be doing anything higher than something like SM.
When you cant even stick to your own word and you have to try and throw jabs through other posts.
Huh?
I wasn’t even talking to you, I was commenting on how the pally boosters will be here now. Since mages will have an AOE cap.
All the pallys will also have free rank 14 gear to start out boosting.
Sure bro, Sure.
When they release how tbc prepatch will be, I hope you bookmark this convo we had. When you find out I’m right, reply back here accordingly.
What exactly do you want me to write back? I specifically said that even if you are right it is irrelevant of the argument. The argument isnt about being right or wrong. You have to know that by now…right?
Oh no at this point it’s definitely about being right.
Don’t worry when I am right I will be Petty about it
