I’ve had the same cat since level 23 but my huntard is already level 60 so it won’t be an issue for me. I don’t have anything to boost unless I make a horde toon, but even then I would only play a belt which can’t boost. No boost 4 U! (Well, no boost for me).
I was just curious if the pet boosts with the hunter.
