Boost. I did,
1 to 50 = 8 hours
50 to 60 = 3 to 5 hours
Thats how i have leveled my toons casually
I’ve leveled exactly 1 toon since boosts came out (and I really wasn’t expecting it). I’ve even boosted some characters from a previous boost level to the next boost level when it upgrades near the end of an expansion rather than leveling 10 levels.
Leveling is not fun. It’s braindead. I’d rather be doing the stuff where my performance matters a little more. I got my fill of leveling content years ago.
I bet it is! I can’t wait until he’s GONE!
Funny things is that TBCC boost (going off your 58, please forgive me if I assumed wrong) gives gear that makes retail gear look like trash really.
TBCC boost gave adequate gear. the 60 boost…op is looking at buying gear to clear heroic dungeon ilevel need lol. retail got cheap on the starter gear here.
I like my boosties in tbcc. And retail. My horde pvp main was boosted. From the one thrown into the noob package deal. years later…played often.
Boosts on chars you know you will like tend to work out better imo. My goto archetype is an elf with a bow. These never get old. probably why I have like 6 60 hunters at least lol.\
You have a keen eye, You got it right.
Nice. I have a bunch of pallies.
DO NOT BOOST.
If you have heirlooms, you can level off rested exp very fast now.
I’m leveling another DK now, and just doing quests,no dungeons, I went from 33 to 47 TODAY.
do you have plenty of money? boost.
do you have plenty of free time? level.
do you enjoy leveling? level.
Have you ever played the class before? Or even still remember how to play it?
Boost is fine if you know the class, but for sure level if you don’t. It doesn’t take that long and it’s fun.
You should be able to get to 50 in about 2 weeks of playing an average of a 2 hours or so a day.
Leveling really requires no effort at this point.
pay the boost so we can have more content pls
I from my own experiences would definitely go with leveling. I used to boost all my toons but have found out the toons I don’t spend time on are the ones I boosted. And now that I am working on my professions and guild achievements I find that boosted toons don’t help to reach those achievements as I don’t get the rep in guild I need for those toons to count against achievements. I created a new panda hunter to reach my achievements and reached level 34 in 3 days. Sounds like a lot of time but my hunter is also my LW and I was doing a lot of farming trying to get to 525 skill points in LW. So I wasn’t power leveling and I never have. But I have found out the joy I missed out on by boosting all the time. Just my two cents worth, save your money and try to have a little fun.
I really wish I had made some demon hunter alts in bfa before the squish to get a head start of leveling
Find a friend and level. It takes no time doing it through dungeon spam, and it’s a lot of fun if you bring a friend.
If you’re an adult, the boost is worth it. Otherwise, the time is worth it. It takes about 20 hours to level with dungeon spam (if you’re a tank/healer). My time is worth more to me.
It takes a few days. Maybe a week and you get a lot of practice with the class if you level.
I levelled about 4 and boosted one. (Actually this one to be precise)
If you’re strapped for time and say doing dailies takes a chunk of your WoW time then probably boost.
Otherwise I say level.
Chrommie time dungeon spam. You can go from 1 to 50 in like a couple days. you gain almost two levels per dungeon through like 40
Players who can afford it and don’t like to level should boost. Players who cannot afford to boost or like leveling should not buy a boost. If you don’t have disposable income then it’s best to not play a sub-based game anyway.
I’ll use a boost that comes with an expansion, but the full price boosts are just not good value when levelling is so easy now.
