I think I can speak for many on this but bonus rolls have felt great. Being able to catchup on missed weeks and being able to target content and get rewarded instantly for it with a bad luck protection system to me feels a lot better.
Which brings me to my 2nd point, I think it would be great to keep the system and to have it work from the first week. It could be slowed down in many ways while I would suggest only limiting us to 1 bonus roll every week. Small note I still heavily disagree with raids needing 2 of the currency for 1 roll.
To make it even better loot tables should also be kept smaller and this has been an issue mainly for dungeons. Dungeons like Seat of the Triumvirate have way too much loot. Even simply to gear up in heroic pieces this can make dungeon farming longer than it needs to be. I think around 6 pieces of loot for a specialization per dungeon should be the reasonable limit. Same as Midnight falls for raids having a bit too many loot for a raid boss, 3 to 4 loot for a spec makes it reasonable moreover combined with group loot.
It also brings me again to another point, raid rewards and tuning feel in an awkward spot. With many guilds choosing to not even bother with Midnight falls on heroic. To me that’s a combination of Lura asking more coordination than most mythic bosses and early on even being as punishing with less rewards.
I understand wanting the first mythic bosses to feel easy but something has to give and I would suggest introducing either mythic loot on this type of last heroic boss or bringing a type of reward like Antorus pantheon trinkets that dropped from Argus which is basically having some type of legendary reward which made people do Fyrakk on heroic but for everyone.
To note as far as raiding rewards go it does feel like the quantity of loot is still much lower than other contents at the same difficulty when it comes to lfr, normal and heroic and I would suggest for those difficulties which are generally made for pugs to drop a lot more loot and crests, even doubling the drop rate.
The way to then balance it off, as there is generally a funneling advantage in raiding, would be to have it be personal loot with no trading. This would also have the benefit of not letting people roll for loot only to sell it to someone else which has made pugging raids to me simply a p2win experience when it comes to loot and a big reason why I don’t like to pug raids. It is less a problem if you spend your bonus rolls but you generally don’t want to spend bonus rolls for non-mythic loot.
Another note would be the raids boe. Having boes being able to roll stats not even available on bosses can make them even better than loot from bosses and to me that’s a bit too much. I would suggest boes to either be the same as some items from an early raid bosses or to make them work like tier sets; you would see which slot of gear it is then right click them for an item you can get from the catalyst with the same stat as those.
