Assuming this also effected raid rolls and it would be a retroactive refund of +2 coins to those players who rolled day one?
Imagine being toxic enough to make this post, but not smart enough to read that it was widely known to be bugged.
Imagine thinking you should be rewarded for not using your rolls. We lost a roll. Not you. No one gains an advantage for the people getting a refund for Blizzard’s mistake. Especially when they were used before the bug was posted. ![]()
That’s an awkward situation. I don’t know if it’s better you just go spend your second and hope to be included in the remedy or to just wait it out. Might have to wait to see what they say tomorrow.
Rewarded? No.
Not outwardly punished for you getting two myth track items knowing it was bugged but doing it anyway so you could game the system for twice as much loot? Yes.
Clown.
Do you even know what the bug is? Are you that illiterate? Everyone has a chance to get 2 mythic items. We lost a roll and got a duplicate item… that we cannot use. Therefore we only have 1 right now. We get 1 back so we have a chance to get 2 now… just like you. And if you read the post it said “newly rolled” therefore… we still have a chance to get that same item a 3rd time now and still get screwed.
Was that math elementary enough for you? Or do I need to dumb it down to preschool level?
Technically, some could have got duplicates of weapons that they can dualweild, but that’s more a funny anecdote than useful information
I didn’t read your post, I assume it went something like this:
“I don’t want to be responsible for my own actions. I need twice as much loot to make up for me trying to cheat the system, or I’m going to call everyone names.”
In what world would you want duplicate items? Being net 0 on this, puts everyone else on even ground with you. If I get 2/2 back for this week, and my loot pool resets I still may hit my duplicate items. Get over it.
but the loot is duplicated. It’s not twice as much. Its a shard AT BEST.
Some have pointed out DW able weapons would break this
Also I realized if you got the thing you wanted yesterday, getting a token or two back would mean that you could roll on something else instead.
The mess next week if
Turns out to mean that people get more duplicates next week would be pretty big.
It’s an edge case though to be fair
A very egregious bug to miss during QA testing.
Dude I really do NOT want another pair of boots.
M chimmy this week, 2x crit boots dropped. Everyone and their mother rolling on Chimmy. I see boots show up from my roll. [insert australian swears here]. No matter they’re practically bis for one of my builds.
Then goes voidspire farm… Vori drops boots, nobody wanted them so RL threw them my way for a future catalyst / set use for a build (within variance but stat shifts with another gearset).
At this point my boot collection is starting to rival that of an ex gf.
Just give 100% of players a free mythic gaze and call it even, ez fix (joking, but still want one)
You do realize that’s exactly the expectation that the vocal minority has, right? ![]()
Great… how about fixing the Void forge and not gating it for a month? I mean if it’s going to be a month then I can unsub for a month and wait
And then they need to realize that if devs can actually figure out who was affected, they acknowledge they can track just about anything in the game, and their excuses that they can’t solve X issue for Y reason go out the window.
Probably will give everyone a free voidcore above the cap at a later week, after they’ve “investigated.”
Yo, a Mythic Gaze from Mythic Ratdog would be sick.
Send it to my Mailbox please.

Literally all they had to do internally to test this was instaclear a m+ a handful of times, use bonus rolls, and see if duplicates ever appeared. The fact they couldn’t even be bothered to do that little is astounding.
