Bnet app advertisements very bothersome

I get what you are saying. It’s just that the other person was trying to claim there are no ads on Steam. Which is a load of bs.

NGL, this thread is pretty pathetic.

You can launch the game directly unless it needs an update, which usually aren’t too frequent.

Can confirm

Exaggerate much?

You pay a subscription for WoW… but WoW is not the only game on the bnet launcher… it is however the only one with a subscription service… so of course there might be ads on bnet from time to time… but hey, atleast it’s ads for other things on bnet and not some random ad for a scam skincare product, or a seductive ad for a junk mobile game claiming to be a full fledged game… or worse, an innocent looking ad for what could be a fun game that turns out to be a disguised advert for an x-rated website…

Yes you are right. I have an ad pop up when I first log in each time. It’s not annoying, it’s just normal and easy to close out. I guess Seldomane is just special.

It’s once. I go “nope” and close it. It seems to be standard practice now to slip in monetization after launch so it wont affect reviews. At least it isn’t UFC 4 with ads in the game now.

Plus it’s a launcher. At least im not seeing ads for washed up people like Conan anymore.

Think they got the hint and removed those and “promised no more” we’ll see

I use the beta version of bnet launcher. I have it narrowed down to 3 games. WoW, Overwatch, Diablo III. Heck I might even have Overwatch hidden.

I haven’t seen a blizzard add flash on my screen. Now there is a small blip on the bottom right hand side about something other than WoW. But I couldn’t tell ya what it is, as I would have to scroll down to fully read it.

Anything from EA is lip service. They knew there was going to be backlash.

6 post alt, this smells like a desperate attempt at trolling.

You seem chronologically confused, Sunday was yesterday. Or are you trying to get a early start for next Sunday?
