topping that charts in 16-18 isn’t too hard…literally any class can be at the top if played right and the other people in the key not playing as good. But when all things are equal player wise BM gets beat plain and simple by classes that are just objectively better. I can top charts as BM but I do even more dps as MM soooo???

I’m not counting on a buff. Where we’re at right now was completely intentional. It took them 4 (if I remember correctly) consecutive weeks of nerfs to put us here.

Warlocks dominate two of the top 5 dps specs (at least as far as wowheads data is concerned). Thats hardly a nerf. Meanwhile BM has received at least 2 different rounds of unwarranted nerfs since dragonflight launched.

I am doing around 80k ST in raid and 55k in m+ (overall). Do not expect to pug m+ as a BM hunter until they fix it. It’s so broken it’s laughable. Will probably take the season off at least until it’s fixed. I don’t really enjoy MM but that seems to be the way to go if you want to play seriously rn.

Those nerfs will hit harder as we lose our set bonuses too.
How are you doing 55k in M+ runs? We didn’t get buffed this patch but we didn’t get nerfed either 
Idk man I haven’t been doing m+ for a few weeks. They were lower keys and since we have no burst could have been things were just dying too fast.

The annoying thing about MM is people asking you to lust, so you have to summon → lust → dismiss lol smh, should just remove hunters mark, make it a PvP talent and give us a lust and be done with it.

It should be that MM can summon a pet then dissmiss them, but keep the abilities of that pet’s spec.

What is your overall in what level keys rn? The highest I’ve timed is 12 since I’ve only done like 4 keys so far.
So I checked the meters from last night and was 81k overall in a 12. Still seems low.
My two highest so far are just over 100k in Brackenhide, and 96k in Neltharus. Both were 14s. Those are also probably two of the best dungeons for us this season due to the large pulls, but still…so far my DPS seems just fine. The only dungeon I really don’t like for us so far is Vortex Pinnacle.

Overall DPS is overrated. It’s important but it is usually overrated.
What matters is killing mob packs fast. And most packs do not have mobs of equal health. Take a pack of mobs with 4 who have 1m health each and another with 4m health. The two AOE DPS who do lots of damage on all five mobs will have high overall, but without the one DPS doing high ST DPS, that pack stays alive a lot longer than without them.
What’s important is priority damage. Sometimes that it AOE. Sometimes that is ST.
DPS is a proxy stat for killing fast. And it’s a very imperfect one. Don’t focus on the means, focus on the goal.

It’s mid/low for your ilvl.
Lots of other specs can do 80K overall at 405ish ilvl.

Overall DPS is what gets you timed keys, it is in no way “overrated”.
