Vengeance Demon Hunter: Fiery Brands applied by the (4) Set Bonus will gain the benefits of Revel in Pain, Charred Flesh, and Fiery Demise. Burning Alive will cause the Fiery Brand it applies to spread just like a directly cast Fiery Brand.
I feel like this doesn’t address any of the very detailed feedback that has been given in the PTR forums. None of these talents are going to be able to be taken, and Burning Alive doesn’t provide enough benefits for a 2 second spread tickrate over 6 seconds.
However, the datamined Vengeance changes indicate a possible change to Burning Alive. I’m not sure if this is a real value, but it’s saying the tick rate changes from every 2 seconds to every 5.2 seconds:

Hopefully this indicates they recognize that the set bonus has potential, and a few modest changes to the spec tree could make a fun Vengeance build.
