I had a piece of banana nut bread and it had a lemony taste to it. I wonder if they added that. I’ve never had banana nut bread that way and it was really good.

I have an old Joy of cooking recipe book that has a Banana bread recipe, it probably uses nuts but I just leave them out. It calls for lemon juice and lemon rind and I substitute butter for the oil.

I’d shove both in my mouth but slight bias to blueberry muffins since they are my fav only being beat by lemon cranberry muffins.
