In the U.S. it’s $30 and it’s the mount and the outfit. Mounts alone go for $25.
Cash shop is small, there is nothing to be concerned about as of yet.

I mean they do, its on the launcher saying new optional items. and directs you to the store when you click the banner.
I mean most companies are gonna tell you about their products in one form or another.
The launcher, not the game.
Being in the corner of the screen on your login page or on the game menu is hardly “shoving it in your face”
There’s no in game advertisement that just pops and says “hey buy our ” Honestly wish FFXiV had that instead of waiting for it in the mail. (an in game store button that is)
i still get emails about ff14 mount bundles and i haven’t played the game in a decade
Weird considering they don’t do mount bundles.
or mounts or whatever.
Hell you get that for blizzard too
true, but i actively play wow
I guess the “bundle deal” isn’t a bad price considering then. Just seems like there has been a lot added recently. I’m so turned off by lazy recolors of everything and what I consider ugly “uwu” mogs.
Yet, I know I’m not the only one who thinks Blizzard is most likely looking at big cash shop $$$ for their “housing efforts”. It really does feel like “the shop” and “token exchanges” are being artificially inflated for things that could/should? be out right purchasable in the game as well.
I could also argue that certain things, should have been given to the players in game and not offered on the cash shop at all.
This should have probably been a toy people could purchase in game. But it’s a cash shop item for 10$ instead.
There will be stuff on the cash shop for housing, of course. But just like now, the bulk of it will be in the game.
If the cash shop were to quadruple in size and they removed the ability to acquire this stuff through Bnet balance earned by buying tokens, then I’ll get vocal.
But for now, the shop is small and unobtrusive. We also see items go from cash shop to Trading Post and vice versa.
You might have a point if the shop weren’t entirely cosmetic.
Also the “free to farm” currency for mobile games is always heavily gated. The token value of gold depends on the player economy, and your ability to gain it depends entirely on your own skill and focus in gameplay.
It is in Canada now…its $30 for US customers…30 US dollars is 42.13 Canadian Dollar…
The way I watched people argue over dust in this thread
If you read the entire post I wasn’t simply talking about the shop. My warband bank is not cosmetic. Housing will be. Paying for a +10 or raid carry isn’t cosmetic. Buying a brutosaur AH mount is not cosmetic.
As is the “free to farm” aspect of WoW. A month ago you were selling void stones and tenderboxes for thousands. Now you are selling them for hundreds. The economy is as controlled here as it is in any F2P game and will absolutely be used to incentivize token sales.
I don’t have a horse in this race because I don’t care about the things you waste your money and time on but the things you and others waste your time and money on absolutely set a standard for Blizzard to follow up on.
And again you don’t have to spend cash to buy these now…just like the New Long Boi…this new mount and outfit can be brought with Gold…two tokens brought and added too your bnet balance gives you enough to buy the outfit and mount…WoW tokens are at 294,000 or so…so that is like less then 600,000 gold…
You can pretend to be an unserious observer as always but your pearls are looking pretty clutched.
I don’t really care if Blizzard makes extra money off of impatient people. I pay my sub, make gold, and use that gold to buy whatever I want from the shop. It’s just another vendor to me, so these topics will always be nothingburgers.
I’m not pretending to be unserious. I’m acting out an honest role in saying “What you do impacts every other person who plays the game” and, also honestly, saying you can make whatever mistakes you want to make.
I’ll let you know when I make one
I would wager there are a few this week we could talk about that have nothing to do with WoW. Perfectionelody.
