Not sure. I haven’t received my mount yet. The purchase page states:
When you sign up for a 6-month subscription, you’ll receive special bonuses including the steadfast Charming Courier mount in World of Warcraft and the wise watcher Swoopy pet in Cataclysm Classic™. If you’re currently on a 6-month or 12-month recurring subscription with a future renewal date, you’ll receive the mount and pet as a gift in your Battle.net desktop app at no additional charge no later than July 23, 2024 (must be redeemed by January 31, 2025).
When you purchase a 12-month subscription, you will receive all the benefits included in the current 6-month subscription offer, plus the Ginormous Grrloc ground mount, Gleaming Moonbeast and Auspicious Arborwyrm flying mounts in World of Warcraft, and the Nightmarish Emerald Drake and the Cypress pet in Cataclysm Classic™.

Yep guess we wait for Blizzard to fix this to ensure all 12 month subs get their mount.

Yea usually the people getting it via the sub have to wait a while after it releases on the shop

Totally backwards. Players who are already subbed should get the mounts first, and THEN it should be available in the shop for sale.
