Blood elves were cooler back in the day

I mean, Lightforged never outright said that their kind weren’t allowed to dabble into those arts by their leadership. Sure their Naaru was opposed to the void which warlocks may dive into on odd occassions, however that Naaru is gone now so it’s free reign.

That being said as well, Shadowpriests are dealing a lot more directly with the void than warlocks are … However that also being said, they could probably address lightforged shadowpriests who are also dealing with the void on a more direct scale

That’s ultimately what I’d want Blizzard to address to be honest.

— The cosmic contrasts of certain races where various specs / classes go against either their culture, their peoples traditions or their very nature.

I’m not saying it’s entirely anti lore, i just think it looks really weird.

Yeahnah I get it.
Lorewise though, I would like things that are in-game — Especially playable aspects, to be addressed a bit more in depth. Especially for various race-class combos, or their certain specialisations.

Honestly, with Tauren rogues and tauren warlocks i think unfortunately we’re long past those days of races being able to play classes that make sense.

I mean i guess a warlock isn’t impossible, but a rogue…? Seriously?

I think people underestimate how popular human, dwarf, elf and wizard is as a combination in fantasy history. People always seem to gravitate towards this pairing since like the 1900s or something. Its even the hallmark statues in stormwind and the scarlet crusade. I think thats probably what lend to blood elves being more generic. This old idea never really went away and (lord of the rings is proof of that.) :cloud_with_rain:

“by the Light” is an expression left over as a habit when they were part of the Alliance
