Blood elves need to be a high priority coming midnight

Yes, please.

But they are also an ongoing plot element which means they plan to invest into it.

And it was the horde and blood elves who brought back their species from extinction while the high elves were getting bred out of existance.

This is also why that population came from blood elf land and will continue to do so.

Blood elves have blue eye options for a reason and its definitely to signify that high elves have been returning home.

Alliance never gave them a future while the high elves clung to them hoping it would somehow restore their people.

People love this race soooo much but the lore in regards to the alliance does them no favors and you would have to be asleep to not see it.

EXTERMINATE!!!

i definitely see and know it, but it doesnt stop us from wanting playable helfs. heck my velf is helf enough for me…mostly, but id love more helf hairstyles as most of the ones i’m trying to use are for velfs and they are greasy and mussy. helfs are all about arcane and order and velfs are leaning into chaos and void, and their hairstyles show it. even xal’athath, who is channeling pure void, looks more ordered than velfs.

Void Elves have super sexy hairstyles that blood elves need and void elves could use more options. It’s win win!

problem is, people whove been playing belfs for a long time, have outdated hairstyles as the styles were chosen based on fashion trends at the time, instead of elf lore styles, that would’ve been timeless. so if the devs wanna go that route they need to update belfs to the degree they did with humans, and perhaps toss in some timeless styles too

and helfs/velfs need that also

Sure. Void elve styles are few but many of them just look so much better so older ones def need an update.

:person_shrugging: I mean, Midnight has been said to be relatively set in Quel’thalas — Needless to say there’s going to be heavily involved content with the elves one way or another.

:dracthyr_nod: That being said, I agree with OP — I’d much prefer there be a Blood elf high-priority, other than say the Alliance-aligned High Elves along with Alleria and the Void-Elves soaking up all the Quel’Thalassian + void-related content.

Blood Elf is the most playable race across all factions.

They have been ripped off over and over again.

The emo-part is problematic in the current times. I never realized how offensive all of this, until I dusted off my Void Elf to change her a bit in relation to Xal’atath. The greasy and awful hair designs, the lack of tattoos and actual symbolic representation of the Void. Sharing the original Blood Elf hairstyles would be a good start to this.

I’m hesitant to play a Drac’thyr, their design doesn’t look like what was the initial plan and it feels off. It’s not a good sign that even Gnomes and Goblins are more muscular then this race.

Because hate is something people feel compelled to have in their life. Especially when it’s empty.

Incorrect. Just look at the Mag’har Orcs and Wildhammer Dwarves. One race houses four to five clans, with one clan altered extremely. Because you do enjoy dwarves recently, I’ll go into the details here. The Wildhammer Dwarves have an incorrect anatomy (the height is between the Bronzebeards and likely the Earthen, they are slender and have dark tans), have wrong racials and literally all tattoos to them but one are related to their race. The Wildhammer have nothing to do with mountains, archeology, their main feature are gryphons and nature. They have been shoehorned into “Dwarf” and yet this is acceptable as a subrace. You play a Bronzebeard gameplay-wise, yet none of your racials represents this. We can also expands this on the silly and flirt voice lines, which do not represent them.

The Void Elf is the main race for the Alliance, with the High Elves being a subrace. It is that simple. The only things they have missing are regular eye colors and more classes and options.

They should have been always a hero class from the beginning. I do hope the Horde gets Void Elves in Midnight, as an exchange for more Blood Elf options.

Yeah i stopped reading here because that was beyond stupid and i cant stand any more of your awful takes.

If you dont like void elves… tough.
Go find something you do enjoy and stop trying to ruin things for others.

Dear Moritz, pull yourself together and act like an adult. If you “cannot stand” something, then work on your self concept and get a thicker skin so you don’t get triggered by a mere forum posting which should not have an affect on your life.

This has no relevance to my posting.

The fact that in 8 out of 10 cases, there’s always drama when it comes to belfs and velfs, and that everything always has to revolve around them, sometimes makes me wish that Thalassian elves weren’t playable at all. :no_mouth:

No they don’t. Quel’Thalas is also the land of the Void Elves, the High Elves, the Undead, the Amani, and many others.

Blood Elves most certainly are not owed anything if not a fireball to the face from Lady Proudmoore.

My god you are just the absolute worst.
Please, never talk to me again.

You boys always overreact like this forum is the real life.

This was not needed. Just don’t reply back when I quote you.
