They weren’t, they just tagged along for the ride even if they didn’t want to. Because Horde.
The lore caught my attention when my bud got me into the franchise,plus they are visually pleasing/look good in nearly every set of armor. Some like to meme that there are no men or the men look girly, but the reality is the body proportions are more accurate/realistic in terms of common male anatomy as blood elf and void elf men don’t look like roided out shaved apes the way human men do.

They’re hot, have agile combat animations, and transmogs look good on them. I’m talking about the males of course. Females have fantastic melee animations, so agile, but too small for transmogs, especially shoulders. Can barely see anything.

I find it ironic that they keep coming up with the steroid argument when it was in fact Blood Elves themselves that got buffed (to appease the male fantasy I presume). They were much slimmer in WC3 and in the early versions of BC:

When I started this game, their models felt a bit more polished than the older, original race options. Over time, Blizzard has brought most the artwork up to par so I’ve branched out and found new favorites.
I play a blood elf because I wanted to have one of every race.
Except trolls. I don’t like trolls.
I’ve tired in the past, and with the absence of any appeal I’ve deleted them. Today, I guess, the only appeal is that you can play as a DH. In other words…

Well,point is they’re still visually pleasing and the build does seem more accurate. I do ascertain they were more lithe but definitely look better in comparison to the human models IMO. Especially the HMPs

No sir. Not a hint of jealousy to be found. Even if High Elves became a playable race, I’d still be Jawah the Human.

If there was anything I was jealous of, it’d be their male’s body build compared to ours, and lack of chest hair. But every other category though, Humans are better in.
Animations, lore, dances, jokes and flirts, females, etc.
Oh I will admit the Sephiroth hair is cool. They got us there. But we’re getting Geralt hair in SL, so that’s cool.
Even Quel’dorei females know that Humans are better. Just look at the Windrunner girls. We just have so much more potential.

Cool but if you want them playable “for your fellow man”, you should not call them Blood elves.

Blood Elves have that same problem. In like every depiction they are seen as these old and wrinkly evil dudes.
Besides, Turalyon > all Belves.
We also really need his hair to be an option for male humans.
Nah. I have it, but Jawah definitely looks better as a Human.

Told you, no matter what hairstyle you get, you’ll still look like a middle age man going through a mid-life crisis.
Yeah, I don’t think it’s a matter if you have it, but if others do.

I only used to play BE on horde side, but now I mix it up more due to allied races, and will mix it up more in SL due to new customization options.
